If you also notice they left out Shimo & evolved godzilla basics. My assumption is that they are revising them both before final production. Shimo to be scaled up in size, Evolved G to have a more screen accurate look to match the physique of the stylist version.
DUD CEPI, u gotta see this Daddy evolved looks WAAY better then before my god the proportions are CLEAAN And shimo well ive said this before shimo is smaller then daddy goji but i do like big figures(not too big like shma tho) and is it just me or she looks more muscular am on something or im onto something but MMMH it looks more crispy with better paint GOOOD theyre COOOKING While im kinda dissapointed at shma god theyre daddy goji got downgraded the head is too big the jae looks like its dislocated and teeth are missing or they didnt paint it the sculpt is over all less detailed and the paint it straight garbahe like why is the chest so greenish yellow why are the shoulders so disproportionally small and the legs are too thin. Theyre best figure of gxk got downgraded so much i dont know what theyre doing at this point
Did they make some adjustments to the 2014 mold? The prototype images made the body seem just a tad bit too chunky or the head too small by comparjson, did they fix that or are my eyes playing tricks on me?
I do have an answer as to why the heat ray G14 doesn't have all the dorsal plates painted blue. If you watch the scenes where he uses his atomic breath, only his middle row of dorsal plates glow. It's quite odd, but I do appreciate the attention to detail that they have for their figures.
Mhm, I guess the middle spines only glowing was to give it a more.. real feel yknow, since im unsure if the "Mutos are Nerfing his Atomic Breath" thing was thought about during 2014' development.
in regards to the ultimate heat ray version, LED lights might be what they're going for, since the dorsal plates look a bit transparent, but we might see this figure come with an dorsals with a glow effect!? that's what i thought initially
In the 2014 film, only Godzilla's middle dorsal plates light up. It may look a bit weird on the figure, but trust me, its accurate. And I Am SOO PREORDERING THAT FIGURE WHEN IT COMES OUT!! 2014's Godzilla is my favorite Dorsal design. But just letting you know it is accurate. I don't know how I feel about the other one. I just bought the Hiya toys Heat ray GVK Original version. and I have the GVK Ver 2 Base Goji Figure. I won't be getting the Heat Ray ultimate Ver figure. Something just looks of to me and i think its because of that giant crack in the middle if the body. Both 2014's I'm getting 100 percent, The New Kong I'm so getting, It Just looks so accurate and its going to have the same articulation as the 2017 Kong. Maybe not Heisei mecha g, as because I'm thinking of waiting till i save up to get a s.h monsterarts GVK Mecha Godzilla, Gmk and Godzilla 2000 I will most likely be getting.

Ehh, okay, I'll complain, but I have to. Why can't this atomic breath just be included with the original G2014? And no, the argument that it only costs $50 does not appeal to me. Neca Godzilla 89 cost $25 on the day of its premiere and had atomic breath. This is what I don't like about both hiya and monsterarts. We rarely get accessories when it comes to figures of Godzilla himself. Other monsters get them right away (like Kong)
Okay so the thing about Hiya is they need to make money some how, they’re going about it like neca did back in the day, neca may of been only 25 bucks but they also didn’t have as much quality, weren’t as accurate, weren’t as big, and didn’t have as much articulation as hiya so I think 50 dollars is a fair price range. What hiya does is gives us options, we don’t have to buy the normal figure we can get the atomic breath version with a atomic breath piece for the exact same price as the normal one, I personally think that having the atomic breath piece with a normal Godzilla without any glow on the dorsal plates would just feel a bit out of place. The thing people hate about shma is that they will make a normal version of the figure that costs hundreds of dollars and have literally nothing, hiya base figures might not have anything but they are only 50 bucks and are bigger so I can let it slide but if your going to make me pay a hundred dollars and more for a figure it better have some stuff, and then they will make an even more expensive atomic breath version of the figure and it still won’t come with anything not even an atomic breath piece which Hiya actually has the dignity to supply the ATOMIC BREATH ver WITH A ACTUAL ATOMIC BREATH PIECE. I'll give you another example of Godzilla 89 from neca. Both the original and the repaint had atomic breath. And from what I've seen, it probably paid off for them, because these figures sold out quickly. So we still had a choice, between original and repaint, and both versions had accessories. So the argument that hiya is only 50usd still doesn't appeal to me. Personally, I just want one figure, with a regular paint job (without the blue spikes), along with the effect. Besides, in the case of some godzillas, it's consistent with the source material (heisei), that they don't light up when he shoots, only a moment before

Hiya changed up the articulation for the G14, maybe they’re doing the same for Shimo and Evolved Goji and that’s why they’re not on display?

That’s def true. People hate on shma for it but use the excuse of hiya being cheaper for not having a breath piece. Im just sick of it.
