In this video, I show you how to Kettle dye a very curly fleece. It's a faily simple way to dye fiber, you just need to be careful not to felt the fleece.
Masham sheep have such stunning fleeces! I found out that Masham is a crossbreed of Teeswater and usually Dalesbred or Swaledale, making Teeswater the sire of Masham. Also Masham the closest breed to pure Teeswater. I adore the long staple length longwool breeds like Teeswater and Wensleydale, but Masham has the longest staple length I have seen at 15-38cm! 😍
