Astonishing! I first heard of Jessica from the “Every Little Step” documentary. There was one scene where one of the other dancers auditioning for Val was peeking thru the curtain watching Jessica and wondered who the blonde girl was that was dancing rings around everyone, and where had she come from. After seeing this montage it is no wonder she was selected for the Broadway Revival, and was able to play various roles so well. It is not hard to imagine she was the best dancer and performer in every cast she performed in growing up.
She did amazing but i was thinking the same thing. As a mother of 3 daughters it’s strange that she was so comfortable being that exposed and sexually provocative at only 15 especially in front of an audience.
You are such an inspiration. The way you dance is breathtakingly beautiful, and I am absolutely speechless every time I am lucky to watch you perform, whether it be on Every Little Step, or on youtube. It is such an honor to watch your transformation through the years!!
So.... I was looking for dance classes at Steps and checking out the dance faculty. I have a very strange and interesting Karma to find randomly and synchronistically the most unbelievable talented people. But you were a true musical theatre prodigy! Wow....I'm so floored, and really touched as well. I hope that my path with cross yours when I'm in shape enough to try your class at Steps. Blessings.
Because these are videos of her stage school performances - in a way it makes sense, there is a lesson in there, as A Chorus Line is about a group of veteran dancers trying to land one last job - before their talent diminishes with age.
RUclipsLover forever Stage school performances. She was training to be the best so it's not like any random performance. She wanted results and she got them.
I've just watched 4 versions of this song with all of them except this being performed by "professional" actors. This kid has more pizazz than all of them put together :)
These are videos from Worth-Tyrrell studios where she studied musical theater from a young age. Every year, the schools's students put on a production of A Chorus Line.....which makes it a stroke of pure fate that that musical became her first Broadway gig 😊
RUclips is now well stocked with wonderful videos of JLG being amazing in top notch professional situations where others would fear to tread. She is quite rightly lauded and loved by the great and the good. She's one of the most extraordinary dancer / performers around! Perhaps it's a little bit superfluous, and even embarrassing to see her as a wannabe child with promise, in amateur situations? ... it's as if a blinded fan or a proud-parent has chosen the content of this youtube channel (just like a grandmother with photos of their baby ready in their handbag to show to any defenceless victim) .
I don't know, I see your point, but I think it's pretty incredible to see how much promise she had so early. She moved and sounded like a professional at 15. I think it's fascinating!.
Fair enough. I do think JLG is amazing ... but I do feel like I'm being treated to something usually shown by her mother to her friends at the bridge club :_)) But each to their own.
Wow! Jessie didn't lie when she said she played EVERYONE!
There are so many similarities with her 15 year old dance 10 looks 3 dance and broadway one, it makes my heart happy
thsu8 what the fuck

Whenever I feel uninspired I just watch Jessica play Cassie and Diana and get blown away. Truly an inspirational story of a star
absolutely fantastic - born with a gift
she’s really talented but i can’t get over how they had a 15 year old sing dance 10 looks 3? in that costume? where is this omg
Um, yeah..........I'm confued!! Confused...

Forget the costume --
Just the ROLE leading to the _SONG_ alone is enough to leave heads scratching..
Jess, you were literally born for this. Amazing.
You are such an inspiration. The way you dance is breathtakingly beautiful, and I am absolutely speechless every time I am lucky to watch you perform, whether it be on Every Little Step, or on youtube. It is such an honor to watch your transformation through the years!!
Wait why was she is a chorus line every year for like 5 years as different characters
RIGHT!! HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?!? Where do you go to do that? Anyone know?
@@elithewholeshebang it was the same company that did it moultiple times
A lot of uncomfortable and nervous laughter in the audience.

They look so young why are they doing this musical and especially the dance ten number????

Blairwitchgroupproject exactly what I was thinking

Its so fun that u played val when u were young and got to play her on broadway!
So much talent! You can tell from childhood, this kid has something really special!
I feel like the current music and the mirro choreography was based on this. Man those snappy and sharp movements. You gave it more than 1111110%!!

Johnsmith Sitizen this kid ended up on broadway with this role
I absolutely admire you! but ive got a question, how come you did a chorus line every year?

You're Fantastic - but I'm curious, have you played every part in the show??
