Phaxe & Querox - Freetown

It always start´s with a visit, either i go to copenhagen to visit Phaxe or he comes over to berlin to visit me. "Freetown" started in the end of 2019, when we were preparing for the "End of the year tour" in brazil. That day I woke up in copenhagen and i heard Kevin and his girlfriend in the next room watching some Video which had a beautiful melody. I found it sick too, and as Kevin never hesitate when something catches his vibe, he started to replay it on the i pad piano. With that very raw idea in our mind, we immediately went to the studio to translate it in our way. It went around for a couple of sessions, and took a while, as we couldn´t travel to each others places during the pandemic. It´s a very honest song, like all of our songs, straight from the heart.
