“This economy right now stinks” says the guy opening a $1000 mystery box of unnecessary collectibles that he plans to make money on by selling to people who have money to drop on expensive toys. Tell me more about this economy…
Yes, the economy stinks right now and millions of Americans are struggling. If you are struggling then you should not be wasting your money on mystery boxes or any kind of collectibles. There are also millions of Americans that aren't struggling and we are able to spend money on what we want. Only spend money that you can afford to not get back, that is all about personal responsibility.
@@FranchiseKicks Many canadians here in Canada are struggling too. In fact the economy in general worldwide sucks. You don't need a formal education to realize how much people have gotten much tighter with their money.
Feeling the good vibes Klint! 🎉 I doubt many people here bought a $1,000 mystery box 📦 How are some of these, if not all not in hard stacks?!?! 🤯 Love the content! Keep up the great work! 👟
Why are so many people complaining about you buying a high dollar mystery box? Can everyone afford one? Maybe not. But I enjoy your videos and am glad that you are doing what you do. If people don’t like what you are doing, or what you’re spending, then they should just not watch. That simple.
@@Xraytech-37 You obviously misunderstood my post. I was responding to when Klint asked the viewer how many of us also bought this mystery box for $1,000 and I’m assuming that’s not very many. I stand by what I said. I guarantee I’ve been watching Klint’s videos far longer than you have so I definitely enjoy them for entertainment purposes, which is what they are for. He makes his money on the videos and re-sells almost all of the POPs. You would know this if you were a true fan and not just a troll. Maybe read carefully first before assuming things. It’s just that simple 👍
I was actually piggy backing your comment. Your comment was complimentary. And I was agreeing with that and talking about other comments I had seen. Nothing towards your comment at all. And if you thought I was trolling, believe me I was not. I can’t stand that either! Hopefully this clears things up. Have a good one!
For six years, I remember this Indiana Jones was one of the only available variants if you wanted to get this character... In 2023 they have finally released commons of him!
Would enjoy seeing you open some trade cards in the future dude! Also you should do a taste test challenge with your wife your expressions are hilarious 👌
I think the reason why the mystery boxes arent selling now is because Funko has pretty much been kicked to the ground. The prices on them are ridiculous so more and more people are getting out of collecting them. Mystery boxes are fun, but they arent smart to buy unless you just have money burning in your pocket and in todays economy not many people do.
That OG gitd zero pop only sells for around 50% of PPG value every time I have it. PPG value is highly inflated on that pop. I will have to pass on that since that zero isn't worth what PPG value says it is.
The average person may have extra money but an extra $1000? I know the average person won't spend $1000 on a bet. Those $1000 boxes....keep buying them. In the latest Funko environment, the future for you should be interesting on a $1000 bet in a year from now. Good luck though! I'll watch you spend it.
You also need to remember that I am also a businessman and everything that I purchase that you see on RUclips is bought by the business, owned by the business and is a business expense since is the "cost of goods sold." When I sell everything in this box let's say for $1,100 but my cost was $1,000 for the box, then I can write off on my taxes $1,000 (cost of the box) and only have to pay taxes on the $100 of profit. So I will only have to pay around $25 of taxes if I sold all of these pops for $1,100. Which would net me a profit of $75 on this box since I can write off the cost of this box. Then if I get paid let's say $200 by RUclips for the ad revenue from this video then I have to pay around 25% of that $200 to taxes so I will make around $150 of profit off of this video if RUclips paid me $200 gross for the ad revenue. So if everything worked by the above equation, this $1,000 box could potentially net me a profit of $225 after taxes when it's all said and done. Like I have said hundreds of times, ONLY buy mystery boxes if you can afford to lose the money. This is an entertainment RUclips channel, this is a business for me and is meant to entertain millions of people across the world. Do not spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on collectibles or mystery boxes if you can't afford it. Spend your money wisely.
Your Rey Mysterio appears to be a fake. The gradient on the Pop logo on the front is too dark, which is a typical sign of a fake. Also in the Pop logo, the pattern of small circles are missing in the gradient...I believe this is why your boxes look brand new even though they are suppose to be many years old. It is because they are brand new fakes. Of course Im not there in person to examine them closely but even through the screen the Pop logo on the Rey Mysterio appears to be fake instantly.
@@FranchiseKicksI respect that you've been buying and selling for many years but even the best can get finessed. Pause your video around the 12:33 mark and you can compare the pop logo on all four boxes next to each other. The logo on the Rey Mysterio box has a horrible gradient and is a deeper orange than the other boxes. That is the ultimate sign that its fake. Whatever company you bought these from, you may wanna stop buying from them.
I have never been a Funko channel and I have always been open about that. I don't even collect funko. I am a reselling channel, a mystery box channel and an entertainment channel.
There having trouble because companies and people like you are jacking the price of pops up. Like it's becoming a dying hobby because nobody can afford to get pops they actually want in their collection. Everyone's buying pops for VALUE,AND NOT TO ACTUALLY COLLECT. and that's why a lot of people are leaving the hobby. Including me.
Can we get a crate of tissues for this poor little fella. He constantly cries himself over Clint's videos. Get a life pal! Nothing you have at home is yours! You are just a caretaker of everything.
The economy is doing poorly. People are making specific choices based on budget. Funko Pop mystery boxes. Maybe the last thing that people spend money on now. I don't believe that the collectible community is going downhill. I think people are being more thoughtful about their purchases.

Adventure time!!!! Best pops
@FranchiseKicks I would love to see a video of all your signed pops please
Buy the 5000 guarantee box. You drop thousands you have zero too lose.
I don't want to drop $5,000 on a mystery box. It's too hard to sell Funko Pops in the $1,000+ range.
