im sorry How on the earth did I miss that you have MTG asmr videos?! Id love to hear and see you do more of these! I recently got into this card game and got my dad and siblings into it as well.

Ideas what you could do for videos are like history videos, maybe how things are made also would be good, maybe show and tells, child hood memories videos things you’ve got up to. Doing some of them as voice overs would be good (just not ear to ear) ahah hopefully you like the feedback keep up the good work mate glad your back!

Oldschool magic cards just look so dope :0 im also a big fan on playing so called "sealed league" with a group of friends (not like draft but to just buy boosters and build decks from those. And personally I think playing Skyrim as ASMR would be pretty nice. There's so much to do, so much content, and it's a great pace for ASMR I believe. I can imagine you sneaking around in the dark somewhere whispering about what you're doing or sniping giants and mammoths from afar with your bow and arrows. I think it's a great idea

Love the oldschool magic cards
The card riffling and general soft handling of the cards towards the end was nice.
Maybe a video 'goldfishing' the deck, if you know the term. Like drawing hands, playing out scenarios showing how the deck would normally play. Complete with shuffling and such. If you're interested in doing more Magic.

You should do a video on shuffling. That makes the best ASMR sounds! Love these videos. Both this one and your goldfishing video made it to my ASMR playlist.
I know already that I will have to watch this video multiple times. I do want to see the cards and hear about your strategie, but I know I will fall asleep befor the video ends.
I guess thats the struggle with interesting but also extremely relaxing ASMR videos.

Just curious, I haven't played that game in 20 years, back when they had the ice age series come out, and I'm curious to what series they are in now? Maybe longer then 20 years, but I ended up stopping a few months after they brought out the ice age series
They just celebrated the 25 anniversary of the game last year. I believe they have released over 75 “regular” sets and countless supplemental sets as well. There are a ton of different ways to play now, both officially supported by Wizards of the Coast as well as many unofficial “formats.” As he mentioned in the video, early cards can be VERY expensive. A lot of old cards are still cheap though. There is a computer game now that is called Magic Arena that is pretty fun. (It only has the last few years of cards though) It’s bringing in a lot of new (and returning) fans to the game. The game is having a bit of a boom right now. Hope that answered your question. (Sorry for the long message...MTG is a bit of an obsession of mine...much to the chagrin of my wallet and wife.)

I know one of the 'original twenty-five' artists of MTG, Brian Snoddy! He painted over 100 cards! Brian also painted D&D cards.

we used to just order them online, but in the last year or so it has gotten really expensive. We then wrote a python script that creates artificial packs and order all the individual cards from cardmarket. We can tell the program to avoid certain (expensive) cards and thereby keep the price reasonable. We then get a friend to assemble the packs so we don't know what is in them.

So did you guys draft all these cards between everyone? How was the original pool of cards you guys are playing with acquired?
We drafted 3x 4th edition and that was the first pool. Every time we did a new draft those cards would be added to the pool after the draft. We've been doing it for years now.

@@ASMRChess It's pretty niche and most channels just focus on opening new products, although some channels present some decks that have older cards in them... Magic ASMR presented and elf deck once for instance, but they're inactive now sadly.

Absolutely! I played a lot as a kid with my older brother and then stopped playing for awhile. I picked it back up when the Eldrazi set was released. (Emrakrul was too much fun 😂)So there’s a lot of nostalgia for me when you do these kinds of videos and I enjoy the game. The way you positioned your mic and the sound quality was perfect, and the hand movements and dealing with the cards was just so relaxing. fell straight to sleep listening to this. ❤️

i'm not sure how much you enjoy music, but i think you'd find youd really enjoy radiohead. They're really unique and have alot of different styles and they just feel like theyd suit you
