I'm a Hobonichi Techo and Recollections Planner Gal, but I enjoyed watching you unbox this.
I think you have me sold on the colorful horizontal. I am firmly a horizontal girl but the last few years have gone neutral for the more basic weeks. But didn't care for how that looks on the quotes and preplanning pages. I think I can so work with this and the color layers are gorgeous. The only down side is the planner print. I love the script font. All three options are so pretty, but the color layers are just amazing.
Almost forgot I could take or leave the coloring page but I really miss the dot grid and liked the 12 hexagon page.
I made a mistake about ordering Erin Condren. oops. I got my order and it is a lovely Wordsworth planner, non-dated. I love it. It's going to help me be much more organized than I have been. It came in a black, sturdy box and a glossy How-to book. I'm so excited to use it.

Amen! I was always in need of more notes, I would just stick lined pages over the coloring pages. I still cant decide between layers and flower power themeeee
I also doubted they could do better than tha kaleidoscope but they did it!!! OMG...

@@HeartBreathings Yes!!! Flowy, organic, soft... I love the ruler! I had so many mixed feelings about the pattern in last year's ruler, I love that this one is minimal in design and still so beautiful.
I’ve sworn allegiance to a different planner that works great for me and I’ve seen Her stuff before and it was beautiful and never ordered. But have to tell you this one is so tempting. It’s so pretty 😍
I usually go with the neutral vertical layout, but after seeing your video I am HIGHLY tempted to take the plunge and grab this colorful vertical ... and a lined notebook with the neutral layers cover : )
I'm torn between Vertical and Hourly. I'm an hourly planner person but I want to try vertical. Hope to snag more of those DIY pens. Loved the ones that came in the surprise box!

The pplanner is amazing and beautiful! I'm happy with my BuJo and the HB90-weeklys for my goalplannung, but if I lived in the US, I'd be really tempted to change to Erin Condren. Its all so gorgeous, and I love the many different accessories...

I love this new layers design. I love the kaleidoscope, and this is great too! I love all the new accessories, especially the intechangeable pen. It's so cute!!! I don't know if I'll order something this year because for me, the shipping and taxes are really expensive and I really have to think about it...and it's a shame because it's so good to have an Erin Condren. I really love their Life Planner. Let's hope I can get a new one for 2021!
I love Layers!!!! I’m torn because I’ve done horizontal for years and I was going to switch to hourly but seeing the horizontal colorful layers is making me rethink my approach. I’m SO GLAD the coloring pages are gone.

THANK YOU for a colorful horizontal review as they are hard to come by! I was going to do the flower power horizontal initially, but I decided to go with layers. The flower power is pretty, but I’m afraid I’m going to sick of those flowers every single week!
Also, SO HAPPY they got rid of the coloring pages and hexagons. That was a lot of wasted space last year. Maybe some people are still into the coloring, but I honestly feel like that trend has passed, so getting rid of it was a smart move.
Wow! As much as I love adding my own colors, this time I'm going colorful. Too beautiful to miss!
I love this design!!! I didn't get to Virginia Beach this year for Spring Break, but the layers design reminds of the waves in the ocean, it just makes me smile!!! Thanks for the sneak peak, I know what I will be adding to the list to get from EC ;)
I"m team horizontal all the way but I'm torn between both the colorful layers and flower power. Each review I watch makes me flip. I am so glad you gushed over the back folder, it's strange but I think that is by far my favorite feature of the planner this year because it's so gorgeous! Thank you for your review!.

Hmm. I'll miss the colorful theme along the tops of the weekly pages. I mean, if you're gonna do "colorful", do COLORFUL ya know? That's why I get the colorful...to see colorful pages throughout my year. Of course the hexagon was replaced with that EC flag thingy to mark the 1st day of the month on the weeklies...that's fine. Looks like they kept the little monthly reference calendar down in the right-hand corner of the weekly spreads. A lot of people didn't like it, I don't mind it. Yes, a lot of people hated that the tab opened up to the dashboard instead of the monthly spread. I can see why, but I didn't hate it. But I don't mind that EC switched it around either. However, I think I'll miss that one dashboard colorful page where (on the colorful) it had a lined page with the colorful theme as a border. I get that it wasn't as functional a page as the neutral version (that one was just a more or less plain dotgrid page) but I liked it. Well, I don't know. I told myself I wasn't going to get a LP at launch this year because I'm really just a bookbound girl at heart and I need to accept that (I usually use a Moleskine 18-month Planner) but I tell ya I can't help myself. I got the colorful horizontal last year at launch and I've barely touched it....it's that big honkin' coil. I was determined to stave off until the end of the year when they launch the softbound LPs. So. Having said all that, while I think the Flower Power is really pretty, I'm not really a HUGE fan of big flowers all over my planner, and I really, really like the Layers. The Kaleidoscope is probably still my favorite followed by the Layers, then the Pretty Petals. My least favorite is the Century Circles...I absolutely hated that one. As always, I wish there were more notes pages (20 notes pages would be nice but I can just cut some out of an unused LP or EC coiled notebook and "snap" them in I guess) and I couldn't be happier they got rid of those coloring pages. I also wish she had the options of add-ons like Plum Paper does. I do think that the EC is a superior quality...the covers, the coil, and omg that paper is to die for...I just wish I was completely into a coiled planner. TFS. I don't see too many colorful horizontal videos. If I see any horizontals, they're usually neutral. :)
I love the horizontal layout, but I’m going to go with the colorful Flower Power horizontal this year. The colorful horizontal Layers design is a bit too plain for me. I like the little design elements that are included on ALL the pages in the Flower Power horizontal version. They are all nice, though. Thanks for the review!

I love love love the layers!! So pretty! Loved your video- you're so sweet in your genuine appreciation for both the beauty and functionality of the line! I am so bummed about the Daily Duo- I was really excited to go for that, but I can't because of the Sat/ Sun share. We live in the Middle East and our work/ school work is Sunday- Thursday. I was trying to justify it still, but just can't picture white-out-ing every single day... hopefully for next year...wouldn't it only add 26 more pages (1 more day per week for that half of the year)?? I love hearing your ideas for using the planners. I did just order the Teacher Planner Binder and am excited for that! I home school my 4 kiddos (and did so before corona!)! Take care, Sarra!

I really like that 18 month petit planner! I’ve been using the Teacher Lesson Planner. I love the life planner in hourly, but I prefer a larger size!! Thinking of doing an in the go folio/monthly deluxe combo?

Ok, so, to anyone who reads this, I am looking for an A5 Binder that can hold a lot of pages. I love this size but want to fit at least a half years worth of daily planner pages. I have no idea where to look :(
Nice to see more choices and more option but wish they would when shipping from their eu office that we still have to pay €25 PLUS CUSTOMS Makes the planner alone over €120 bucks there’s no reasonfoer that and we never get free delivery I’m looking for a new planner for next year all my friends are saying the same to me
Hi Sarra! Quick question, do you know if you can get a daily spread and add it to this planner? So it would be the monthly spread, then the weekly spread, and then also the daily spread? That would be my ideal planner, one that has ALL of the spreads.

I love the bright layers design so much! I'm relieved because I'd have choice overload if I didn't. I'm curious whether the interchangeable pens would actually help me color code this year, so I might splurge buy them. I've never been able to maintain a color-coding system for very long. LOL. I'm sad the coloring pages and the color asterisks are gone. I think it takes away from the uniqueness of EC planners. I'm not buying other brands because the designs inside are *too* simplified for me. I'm not getting planners as a decorating creative outlet really but for inspiration to get other things done, though.

Where can I find teacher planner with the VERTICAL weekly spread?
I went on the Website to look at the planner and I look at the life planner and they were not the same, they broke down the week in time increments. I don't want that and couldn't find one that wasn't like that, unless you wanted budget and home. Very frustrated

Since they've changed that column on the left, I'm wondering if the width of the vertical boxes are still the same. That would affect a *lot* of stickers!
I seriously doubt it because the full box stickers in their own new sticker book are so still the same.

I just bought my first ec planner in the bloom but I asked for neutral inside and from your discretion it doesn't seem I have that.I have the waves.is this right or did they mess up?I'm not too pleased with the planner since they only put a few contacts and its on the tab page.the most awesome thing I bought was the folio.I loved it so .much I bought the one that matched my planner.I'm blind in one eye so I had trouble ordering.I also bought the big tote and while there are good features in this I think the person who made them was horrible.my pockets are freying.I already thru package away so I am very disappointed.however I got the horizontal one too.do you have any vids that show me how to decorate?thanks

Am I the only one who hates this current trend of having the months in all lowercase? They're proper nouns. Ugh! On another note, I didn't realize you used a planner aside from your own HB90. Do you use this for your personal planner?
I use the HB90 as my main planner, but I have so many others, haha. Mostly for personal stuff and fun. I use the Horizontal for family gaming/fun memories. I have a vertical for my daughter's memory planner for her first year of life. I also use two deluxe monthly planners from EC as my editorial and promo trackers for my two careers. I know it's a lot, haha. I can't help it.

Erin Condren is extremely overrated.
If that is how you feel, can you suggest somewhere else to buy beautiful planners? Here in Vancouver, Canada, there isn't a lot of great stuff to choose from.
I'm sorry you feel that way! I've tried just about every major planner on the market and they are by far my favorite. No planner is for everyone, I guess.
@@HeartBreathings I just find their planners to be overpriced and overhyped considering the cheap materials they're made of. Their markers leave a lot to be desired. I used their planners for a year and I wasn't impressed.
@@angelxxsin I'm 62 and find that companies today don't make as good quality items like when I was young. Everything from wax crayons to clothing and computers. Big companies are always downsizing quality as much as possible so that we have to renew, rebuy, etc. I find it frustrating. Even leather shoes. I used to have a great leather shoe collection but they got destroyed in a fire years ago. wah.
