I encourage all the blueberries, veterans and streamers playing this game. Please use a mic or dont even bother playing the game. Communication is at the top of importants in this game. Even if you have 6 ppl in discord playing as 1 unit, you need to communicate with other squads and commander aswell. I see too many people jumping on this game because they see cool videos on yt and when they join in they want to play it like any other Cod or pvp fps game... you're killing the vibe and making it much harder for those who want to learn irl tactics and communication.
As a veteran in this game, its really hard in the beggining. Once you find good Squad Leaders that know how to move around the map, its gets much better
This game for first-timers or returners is always hard but i usually find being a medic or rifleman easy kits to learn and the machine gun and sniper are medium and the lat/hats and sappers and squad leads are the hardest kits to play. U dont want to be wasting a kit if ur not familiar with its load out.

It is NECESSARY to speak with your team, and listen to your superiours. Your higher ups know so much more then you do, you have to listen if you are trying to win. That is literally why it is called SQUAD. Also, if you have a good squadleader, you can take points all by yourself and/or defend them with ease. (Love your vids btw)

Squad all about teamwork. If you got good coms you can easily outplay the enemy team especially the squad leaders in command coms pretty fun game none the less and new update bout to drop this month a whole new faction map rework, i like how tony is opening the map every so often gives you good situational awareness to not team kill like blueberries, great stuff on the edits as well 👍

As someone with 5800 hours in squad and probably half that in-raid in tarkov it's quite entertaining hearing him talk about dying so much and not even seeing the enemy. Exactly how I feel trying to get used to Arma Reforger now :)

yeah this game is kinda nuts.. less arcadie than Hell Let Loose.. But if you thought fighting a couple hacking pmcs was tough.. try fighting against 50 marines. Love This game
squad is such a fun and rewarding game nothing like telling your squad leader to tell another squad across the way that i see a full infantry unit flanking them or even spotting a tank repairing.
The experience you have is HUGELY reliant on the experience level and competence of your squad leader. Play on servers that are more competent and the bigger more well known one, they're known to have higher quality and better coordinated games. Unfortunately they tend to have long queue times.
Communication and teamwork is everything. No "one man army" shit in this game like CoD or BF. A successful team requires squads to work together to provide intel on enemy positions, air and armor support, artillery when available, and logistics to feed the FOBs. If one area is neglected, the entire team feels it.

@@luked4043 You can play Tarkov as slow as you do in Squad. And if you actually find like 3 other people willing to take Tarkov that seriously and work as a team. And do this for long enough you can become a serious threat to anyone in the lobby, even if your individual aim skills are mid. Because sometimes it might feel that Tarkov is a contest about who can aim better, but map knowledge and positioning are 70% of the work. Being a well oiled machine as a team, knowing how others in your team are going to react and when you can anticipate what your teammates gonna do before they do it is probably the most fun I ever had in Tarkov.
I went to go watch the full VOD in his channel and holy shit, by the time of his final match of the day, the enemy streamsniping just became straight up blatant. This game is just not a stream friendly game at all. If you're a big enough streamer, hiding your player name and hiding the server you join only postpones the inevitable stream sniping for a bit. Eventually someone in that 100 player lobby is going to browse Twitch during match downtime and find out that X streamer is playing Squad. And even if they don't know what server they're in, they can quickly determine if they are in the same server by watching for a bit. It's a quick and simple check: Same map? Same faction match up, same names in the player lobby list? Yep, he's in my server. It's that easy. Next thing you know that random player tells someone X streamer is playing in the server, and the message just gets widespread over time. And Squad is not like most FPS games where once a match ends, the lobby closes and you matchmake into a new lobby of unaware players. In Squad you generally join a server, and stay in it for several matches until you're done playing the game. So streamers will have like a decent first match, because only a couple people (or none at all) might know X streamer in in their lobby, but as the word gets passed around, more and more players in the lobby will find out, and the streamsniping gets worse over time. Which is why during his final match of the night, so many people were interacting with LVNDMARK, showing off for stream, and calling him out by name. That's fine, but the amount of enemy armor and infantry that would focus on his specific squad and the amount of enemy mortar teams that would direct their fire perfectly on top of him, at every new place he arrived at, was when it all fell apart and just became lame. Yes this game is punishing, but it's typically not this relentless and consistent. It's honestly a fun game, but showcasing it via a popular streamer is easily the worst way possible to give new players an idea of what to expect moment to moment. Shroud and Summit's Squad streams always end up the same way and it sucks.

Would advise playing with a few ppl who have experience that you like and one who likes being an SL, then you just learn from them and they can help you. If you dont actually want to learn a little bit then you wont, been playing since December 25th 2015 when I was 15 and I still play lol.

I would suggest playing in Potato Fields. Very friendly and willing to teach you if you continue to play. You can load into any server, and when in game, que into potato fields while you wait you can still play.
GOL provides the same experience, I’ve commanded the entire team. While teaching a Squad Leader how to play the game during the match. Most if not all Servers are New Player Friendly.
I wish I had a group of people to play this game with, 700+ hours in game and it's all with randoms and I never play SL because people b*tch at a new SL who doesn't know exactly what they're doing.

There's an industry standard with FPS games, and that standard is shooting should be as simple as flicking your mouse over to someone's head, clicking, and they die. These players expect full control and player agency. So when a niche game like this that is trying to cultivate a certain playstyle goes against that standard, it doesn't matter how much they toned it down. The game still doesn't allow them to accurately click on heads fast enough.

Learn the range finder icon on the scopes and lat/hat become easy. You can hit direct on shots from 300m+

Tarkov is relatively fast game compared to Squad. I do fine playing Squad (most of the time) but suck at Tarkov. Depends on your preferences.

@@bestocanah it’s easy. Track/engine the vehicle. Pop smokes on the vehicle to obscure so lats/hats can maneuver to firing positions.
