It is def easier to a degree, and some places are def easier than others, but I agree Brazil isn't "easy" to crack if you don't have the language down. I traveled all around last year, I'm younger in shape guy and I had my successes but honestly it took some time and the online dating there was surprisingly not as easy as I imagined it being based on all of these other dudes hyping it up. I found in Brazil there was a big cultural barrier, and people are addicted to social media to the point that it is having a heavy negative impact on the dating scene. Instagram is king there, if you have a lit IG and you get creative, you can probably just meet girls there instead of dating apps. If you aren't the classically stereotypical gringo with blonde hair and blue eyes, people will automatically assume you are brazilian and look past you, even if it is totally obvious you aren't. Blonde dudes clean up there.
It's a shame that you shouldn't go to Brazil especially for the women. It is a beautiful and large country with lots of nature, sea and sights. There are many beautiful women in Brazil that is very true. It is the mix of people from different countries that created this. If you only come for the women, you will be disappointed because the time when women wanted a foreigner so much is more than 15 years ago. What causes this? When I was in Brazil for the first time 20 years ago, there was much more poverty, class inequality, rich was rich and poor was poor. At that time I saw many people who did not have a refrigerator or a television in their home. You saw 14 year old girls walking around very pregnant, 16 year old girls with 2 or 3 children that they had to raise alone. Back then there were many girls who were looking for a better life. But that has changed a lot since 17 years ago. Lula had become president and started to create a middle class. People could live better and were better protected. Everyone had the right to go to college or university, whether rich or poor. There has been a ban on having sex with minors. Every man who fathered a child was also made responsible and had to pay monthly for the child. If they do not do so, they are immediately arrested and locked up in prison until someone from their family has paid the child's maintenance money. You also now see a lot of people who have a car or a motorcycle, everyone has a refrigerator, TV, washing machine,... Are there still poor people? Of course, you have them everywhere, in almost every country, but you no longer see the way things used to be. I lived here for 16 years now and when I look around I see that Brazil has evolved in a positive way.
Meh it is still very poor in some areas, and has an extremely small middle class; not really sure I agree with that theory. Unfortunately, it is mainly due to cell phones and the highly interconnected world we live in through social media. Back in 1995, the only interaction Brazilians could get with American or European culture was through VHS or TV. Now the average young adult woman is brainwashed on a daily basis through American social media, Netflix, RUclips right in the palm of their hand. There is also a huge and growing number of digital nomads going to these places in-person and dating the local women. A lot of these girls wake up to a 100 new messages in their DMs from dudes all over the world every day. It's not novel to them anymore. You're not unique. You got to get off the beaten path and get creative nowadays. Although it has definitely gotten harder than it used to be, it is still 100 times easier and better than North America.
