- Not a huge amount of dancing going on in this one, but plenty of flying of kites. Do kids still do that sort of thing these days? Well, they did back then when this was originally broadcast on 10th November 1982. Let's be generous and say it falls between Rod's favoured keys. The song, meanwhile, is of course Let's Go Fly a Kite, originally from the film Mary Poppins. You didn't need me to tell you that.

Joe has such a beautiful voice
What a life Emu lived. Never walked a day in his life. Took poor old Rod for a sucker, but Rod got payback. Just look at that bird’s eyes. It was stoned 24 hours a day. Don’t know what Rod was putting in Emu’s food but it certainly weren’t suet pellets.
This video convinced me to go fly a kite once quarantine is over... hopefully
