The Roman Empire is such an incredible blend of power, innovation, and mythology! From the mighty legions that shaped history to the intriguing stories of emperors and their divine connections, there's so much to uncover. I’m curious-which do you think had a bigger impact on Roman society: their military strategies or the myths that reinforced their identity and rule? Excited to see how this video dives into it all!
The military since most innovations and needs such as roads etc were to primarily beneficial to the military that subsequently enabled them to conquer their empire to the extent they did. @@TheOAHistory
@MrNiceGuyHistory if we're going based on longest lasting then the pandyan empire was nearly 2000 years. A bit longer than the Roman Empire. The Mongolian Empire was so great that a percent of all men today can trace their lineage to Ghengis Khan
Great video but I feel like this is missing some important moments, like julius caesers participation against spartacus, how juilius was practically exiled do to his growing power. and thats when he took his legions into gaul. How he wrote letters back to rome in 3rd person, so it presented as from the perspective of one of his legionnaires, about his great deeds and military prowess. How julius married his daughter to pompey. Though you do allude to some of these events just perhaps not in order. Huge video and very well done im not complaining or trying to ridicule just adding some context for those curious.
After watching your video, I understood all the historical processes of the Roman Empire. Very good.
Finally i have been waiting for this who else??
Every man thinking about the Roman Empire at least once per day, so probably every man living and breathing. 👍
