I prefer the way Slughorn gives Harry the memory in the Half Blood Prince compared to the book. In the movie version Slughorn isn't drunk and chooses to give Harry the memory because of Lily while in the book Harry gets Slughorn drunk to get him to give him the memory which Harry notes Slughorn won't remember later on. While it is smart for Harry in the book version in the movie it feels more honest of Harry to get the memory from Slughorn with him knowing what's going on in the moment. Also I prefer movie Slughorn to book Slughorn.
He is a bit drunk in the movies. They indeed kept out Harry constantly refilling the cup but slughorns still drunk. But yeah, I also prefer movie Slughorn :)
