    I agree that the base Sierra isn't quite as good as a lot of people claim, though this tune for it is fantastic, I did think some of the suspension settings being so low would make the car feel strange to drive, but it actually works really well, another really great build.

    Gotta say, this might be the best pack you have ever done! Every car has been amazing! Your creativity has added so much more life to this game! These packs and cars just keep getting better! 😊👍

    I’ve done one of these as a sub 700pp with full aero and it’s great. I’m currently doing the same but with a group a spec build but focusing more on following the group a rules than the historical figures (1035kg minimum weight, stock exhaust manifold and turbo, stock brakes with race pads, stock gearbox and diff, racing suspension). Great build and great fun to race.

      Nice nice, I could see the whale tail Escort RS coming in future, given that we used to have the rally version, and I'd personally kill for a Mk2 Focus RS

    Thanks for this build. I made a BTCC M3 from the same period so they will go very well together.

    These were the kings of Australian group A touring cars before the r32 gtr came in and stomped everything. They were around 600bhp in group A trim and hit 300kph down conrod straight at mt panorama. 370hp for these is very modest compared with reality.

    Hey, how did you decide which engine upgrades to use and which not? I usually fit all improvements, except for turbos when I don't want them, and then tune down the car using the ECU for specific events. I am curious with why not fit the "Bore Up" for example

    I couldn't find it in a Ford store 🙏🙏🙏

      It's available as of today it's in the used cars section and I'm not sure if you know this but most old/classic or special cars usually appear in used cars or legend motors only and they go away after a while so make sure to get it right away

    Could you possibly do a group a r32 GTR build?? Specifically the Gibson motorsport r32 GTR that ran here in Australia in the 90’s. It’s different to GTR that the Japanese used.

    • @HSGAutomotive

      I'll most likely do a Group A build for it at some point yeah

    Bit of a shame about the horsepower though, in real life group a Sierras were hitting over 600hp around the early 90's.
    I had to reduce the weight to 1000kg with 440hp to keep it competitive with my other group a tunes.

    In my opinion you get Engine philosophy of race car a bit wrong! Normally race engine is max tuned and than add a air restriction according regulations.😊

    • @HSGAutomotive
      @HSGAutomotive  Год назад +5

      Sure, you can fit everything and restrict it if you prefer. At the end of the day these street cars can only ever feel so similar with the parts we have access to, so I avoid buying parts which aren't really needed, and making them end up feeling more sluggish than the equivalent restricted race motor would feel in addition
