- For inspiration in his upcoming rom-com “Palm Springs,” Andy Samberg turned to a galaxy far, far away. The film - which premiered at Sundance and also stars Cristin Milioti and Camila Mendes - takes place at a wedding in California. To prepare, Samberg said he watched Hayden Christensen’s Anakin Skywalker and Natalie Portman’s Queen Amidala say “I do” in “Star Wars: Attack of the Clones.”

It's a groundhog Day movie. I mean so is Happy death Day but that took an original take on it as far as solving your own murder. The take this movie does is at least having two people go through the day together. Trailer shows chemistry between the two leads but, we will see how it plays out.

I liked this movie but its title is strange. If you know Palm Springs, the movie wasn't shot there. And doesn't even remotely resemble it.
This movie really borders the line of more remix than original idea.
