Great review as always! I'm not a child of the 80's, I'm a teen of the 80's and the first time I saw "Children Of The Corn" was on a rental VHS in the mid to the end of the 80's. Since many years I have the "Anchor Bay"-DVD in my collection. And thanks to your review, Piz, I think it´s time for an update to the 4K UHD from "Arrow Video". And as a fan of extras on discs, I think I will not be disappointed.
About to give it a watch about ... Now... Loved the creepy music face man it was great... ... They r creepy..... singing.... coming towards you..... Lol good video buddy imma stick with the Og arrow release.. Fine fine I'll get it Piz
You pointed to something saying you had a review to the blu ray release but I don’t see anything to click on. I’m assuming because I’m on mobile and not a computer?
What’d you get it for, Piz? $35? I want it and Tremors, but those prices are up there. Sorry, I’m a filthy casual to Arrow & Criterion. Wish they could toss in a sequel for $40.
First two are worth it. The rest as far as I know are trash. I personally am starting to really dislike super clear bright high quality versions. It just takes me out of the movie. The blood is far too bright, it looses it's dark edges, and in some cases it totally ruins the magic, etc. Zombie being a perfect example of the "ruining the magic" where the zombies look so damn fake it took me out of the movie.
Years ago, I felt the same as you and than I had my first Blu-ray player and a not so good HD-TV. Now I have a 4K UHD Player and a very good TV. I´m a normal working guy and I thought twice if I should spend that much money. I must tell you, it´s worth every Dollar. Or in my case, every Euro, as I´m in Germany. And it took me many hours to get all these great features right, as sound, colour, brightness, etc. But once I´d done it , it´s an absolutely joy to see the new 4K discs. BUT: When I see DVDs, I still watch them on my "old" tube TV. That TV is from 2002 and still works great. At the moment I see the TV series "The Invaders" (1967/68) again on DVD and this looks better on that old TV than on my UHD TV.

Thanks, Chris! The 4K is absolutely worth the upgrade and there are plenty of quality extras here to enjoy.
Was literally looking at the U.K. Arrow trilogy just now! Gotta get this and watch it again
I just picked up the blu-ray version (Arrow) of this a few days ago. One of my favorites.
OK piz I’m taking your advice and I’m ordering the 4K children of the corn as we speak i trust you lol
It’s all about the children
I enjoyed Children of the corn 3 Urban harvest with the creepy Eli who behaves like a Freddy Krueger and Pinhead type character.
Love this movie , 4k looked great and the score is in my top 5 of all time it's great.
I didn't really care for the sequels as a whole but I thought part 2 was the best one aside from the original
I like Part 2, too. I also remember liking Part 6, The Return of Isaac.

I like 4K but I don’t like when they don’t have new extras…does this one?
Maybe they backed the wrong pony
Don't call them kids "corny" ugh
