Ok, ok.... I'm going to comment on the 0-60 test here, because I know I am going to get some comments on that, HAHA! yeah, 0-60 in that time isn't fast for a car. But this is an older Jeep. Ha! Also, this is with 32" tires on it and I am not sure the speed sensor has been changed, so it may have been more like 0-70 or so... as larger tires throw the speedometer off, slower. I know it was a silly test, but still fun. I really can tell it has more power, because I did the same thing before the stroker. Fun to feel the power!
I have a 1989 2.5 YJ and I don't even know how much I can push her in her gears haha, afraid to blow something up or off! She has this kind of cough/chuff when idling and I wonder if it's a misfire and if I got it fixed she would be a little bit quicker. No idea haha. I'm in the UK and if something needs replacing it's a PITA to get hold of and expensive! Great videos Dale, I'm learning so much from watching you with your YJ.
When I saw the thumbnail, I thought you had bought a new Jeep it doesn’t look anything like kiwi without the fender, flares and top 😂 Keep it up I think it’s gonna turn out really good
I just recently inherited my moms 88 YJ 4.2 3 inch lift on 34s Posy front and rear the whole 9 yards. It was sitting in her garage for over 15 years now. I'm rebuilding the 4.2 and giving it an all around tune up. But essentially I hope to start a stroker build in the next couple years. You see guys throwing in LS swaps or 350 small blocks. But I feel like taking the best parts of Jeeps original engines and making these Strokers from hell makes it more authentic. Showing what Jeeps true potential could've been, had they gotten it all right. Really enjoy your videos! It's really awesome what you're doing and very helpful on all levels. In my opinion, you should paint it a Space Grey. Looking forward to your next video! Thanks for sharing
Hey Dale, I'm looking forward to the next video of yours. I like what you're doing to your YJ and it will be worth it in the end. My personal opinion is keeping the beard, it looks good on you. Keep up the great work and I will catch you on your next video.
@@JeepSolid All good. I have aspirations to build a stroker in my 93 someday. My gear ratio is 3.07 and I'm currently installing a lift and decided to run 32x11.5 15r tires. I'm wondering if I should leave the 3.07s and deal with the power loss until I build the stroker or if I should go ahead and install 4.10s .. Thank you for doing this build and putting so much effort into the videos/ posting. I really enjoy your content.

I think you should grow a long goatee and braid it.
Haha man
I don’t think
I could see Dale in a long, braided goatee
Tho 😂
ZZ Top, the three wise men, and duck dynasty, all great role models.
Keep the beard

Sounds like a great project you have. The 6 cyl was one of the best engines ever made. Bullet proof.
I love the two piece hard top. It would be nice to get that for my Jeep.

Keep the Green Color Dale!
Love the YJ content, always watch your videos over a cup of coffee at home. Thanks for all these videos!
Thank you for watching. Glad to enjoy a cup of coffee with you
Like the Beard !
Looking forward to seeing the next video and what colour you’re going to paint the Jeep
Thanks. I’ll be picking the color soon
Grind the tip flat and continue the disassembly
Great jobmy friend.
hi dale...keep the beard..lol it does look good on you.
Beard looks good...but what does the domestic department think?
Good point. She’s ok with it
In the time it takes my 2.5 yj to hit 60 dalight savings times happens.
Haha! But it is a Jeep 😆
Do a gear change and it will be even better
Needs lockers too 👍
What's the gear axle ratio? If it's stock 3.07 are you considering going to 4.10 or do you think that's too deep for the stroker?
I’ll have to check again. I knew at one time but forgot. Haha!
