Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was trained medical practitioner by profession but writing the detective Sherlock Holmes was his hobby, but in the last years of his life he became spiritual man...... what a strange coincidence in the personality and character of man......a keen observational and a man of objective reasoning could be spiritual at the end....... I think he made Sherlock Holmes outwit before Irene Adler to break his own ego that no one could escape from the bull's eye of Sherlock Holmes. Adler is the symbol of emancipation to his Sherlock.
