Ok folks!! Here another Miami Dade Transit Xcelsior bus ride. This bus is what I call one of the 2018 19100 series. When it comes to transit buses and motorcoaches I always go by the year they were built in, what I see on the builders plate and not the model year. The same goes for the early 20100 series Gilligs and many of the 21100 series NewFlyers.
Marcos .A .R manufactures including cars and motorcycles, boats always build ahead of the actual model year. That's why in the case of automobiles, at dealerships you'll see a vehicle ahead of its actual model year. Theres a particular time where they start putting out the next year's model before the calendar year starts again. That's the same case for the buses, if New Flyer manufacturered them as 2019s then they most likely started building the 19s on the next order
