Hi Ara🍂, It's been a long time since I commented, right? But I only just properly caught up on your videos. September was a month full of issues for me. I'm sorry if you got worried not seeing a comment from me. First, I must say ✨Congratulations✨ on the release of your first sticker set. They are so cute🥰! I will be trying to buy them as soon as I can figure out the Oround website. I just found out they have an English setting for the website😁. Second, I must explain a bit about why I haven't commented: When Queen Elizabeth passed away, I was actually very sad. A lot of people in my country have different opinions about this, but for me it reminded me of when my grandmother passed away. My Grandma was a big fan of the Queen. She was born in the same year as the Queen and dressed in a similar style. My Grandma even named my mother after the Queen. It's been a very long time since my grandma passed away, but it really touched my heart🥺😢 to realise how much the Queen just being there reminded me of my Grandma and the happy memories we shared. So I didn't watch a lot of RUclips at that time. I ended up buying a Queen Elizabeth rose shrub in honour of her and my Grandma, who also loved roses. Then last week was just filled with lots of annoying things😩. My sister quit her internship with a really good company that were properly mentoring her, paying decently, and giving her lots of opportunities. We were all extremely cross with her. I can't even tell you the reason why she quit, because it's really silly😤. Then the next day, we got overcharged double by the Electricity company🤯😠, so that had to be sorted out- even though we currently have a power crisis in our country. The municipality said it was a system glitch and that it happened to a lot of people😡🤬. Then after that a hive of bees🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝😱 swarmed outside my bedroom window in the hedge next to our wall fence. We had to call bee removal people! They were trying to live inside our mains Electricity box😵! At this point started to laugh at all the bad things happening🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️. And top it all off, everyone in my family caught Covid this past week😷🤒🤢🥶🥵🥴... except my sister. Even though she's not careful😬. So right now, I am in bed sick, haha😅. At least I am only sick enough to just have to stay home. This means I am missing my cousin's little baby's first birthday. This is the cousin at whose wedding I got food poisoning at. I was the only person who got food poisoning🥴. I didn't get to eat any cake back then😢... And now I don't get to eat cake at his child's first birthday😭🎂🤤😭. We didn't even get to celebrate my late Dad's heavenly birthday yet because of isolation😔. I still feel I can't trust a delivery company to bring a cake safely yet🤨🤔. Ironically, I had planned to get my booster vaccination last week, but I couldn't go😑. The only very good thing that happened was that we finally got the right dosage to help my dog lower her blood pressure after 2 months🥰🐶. I'm glad you got to see the exhibition! It's always great to see the work of people you greatly admire. And the exhibition was was very welcoming for all people. I think people worry about going to galleries sometimes, but a cafe is a comfortable venue☕🍰. For me, I still remember seeing a play that was performed by legendary local actors( one of them was John Kani, who plays T'Challa's father in Black Panther). The play itself was revolutionary, and we even studied it in University. But the scene that will forever stay with me was when they did a drunk scene and the other actor( the late Winston Ntshona) ate an orange😊🤪🍊. The way he did it truly showed a drunk person trying to eat an orange and it was hilarious. It's probably one of best acted scenes I've seen. Just remembering it makes me feel inspired by how much work he must have put into it🤩. It's very interesting where we can find inspiration🤔. Sometimes it will come out of the blue. Sometimes we need to see something that someone else made to spark something creative in ourselves🎭🎨🖼. Sometimes we get inspired because we can't find the item we are looking for to buy, so we have to make our own🤷🏽♀️. I think my next creative projects will be trying to make my own stamps. I actually forgot that I know how to do lino prints and I still have my carving tools from high school. I'm really surprised at myself, haha😅😅😅. Thank you for taking us along with you to the exhibition at the cafe, and for showing us two very different styles of journaling. Even though they were different, they were also your style. For me I also get inspiration from nature I went to the forest yesterday to see the season change and the pretty colors to journal about! It's been a long time since I commented, right? But I only just properly caught up on your videos. September was a month full of issues for me. I'm sorry if you got worried not seeing a comment from me.
First, I must say ✨Congratulations✨ on the release of your first sticker set. They are so cute🥰! I will be trying to buy them as soon as I can figure out the Oround website. I just found out they have an English setting for the website😁.
Second, I must explain a bit about why I haven't commented: When Queen Elizabeth passed away, I was actually very sad. A lot of people in my country have different opinions about this, but for me it reminded me of when my grandmother passed away. My Grandma was a big fan of the Queen. She was born in the same year as the Queen and dressed in a similar style. My Grandma even named my mother after the Queen. It's been a very long time since my grandma passed away, but it really touched my heart🥺😢 to realise how much the Queen just being there reminded me of my Grandma and the happy memories we shared. So I didn't watch a lot of RUclips at that time. I ended up buying a Queen Elizabeth rose shrub in honour of her and my Grandma, who also loved roses.
Then last week was just filled with lots of annoying things😩. My sister quit her internship with a really good company that were properly mentoring her, paying decently, and giving her lots of opportunities. We were all extremely cross with her. I can't even tell you the reason why she quit, because it's really silly😤.
Then the next day, we got overcharged double by the Electricity company🤯😠, so that had to be sorted out- even though we currently have a power crisis in our country. The municipality said it was a system glitch and that it happened to a lot of people😡🤬.
Then after that a hive of bees🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝😱 swarmed outside my bedroom window in the hedge next to our wall fence. We had to call bee removal people! They were trying to live inside our mains Electricity box😵! At this point started to laugh at all the bad things happening🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️.
And top it all off, everyone in my family caught Covid this past week😷🤒🤢🥶🥵🥴... except my sister. Even though she's not careful😬.
So right now, I am in bed sick, haha😅. At least I am only sick enough to just have to stay home. This means I am missing my cousin's little baby's first birthday. This is the cousin at whose wedding I got food poisoning at. I was the only person who got food poisoning🥴. I didn't get to eat any cake back then😢... And now I don't get to eat cake at his child's first birthday😭🎂🤤😭.
We didn't even get to celebrate my late Dad's heavenly birthday yet because of isolation😔. I still feel I can't trust a delivery company to bring a cake safely yet🤨🤔.
Ironically, I had planned to get my booster vaccination last week, but I couldn't go😑.
The only very good thing that happened was that we finally got the right dosage to help my dog lower her blood pressure after 2 months🥰🐶.
I'm glad you got to see the exhibition! It's always great to see the work of people you greatly admire. And the exhibition was was very welcoming for all people. I think people worry about going to galleries sometimes, but a cafe is a comfortable venue☕🍰.
For me, I still remember seeing a play that was performed by legendary local actors( one of them was John Kani, who plays T'Challa's father in Black Panther). The play itself was revolutionary, and we even studied it in University. But the scene that will forever stay with me was when they did a drunk scene and the other actor( the late Winston Ntshona) ate an orange😊🤪🍊. The way he did it truly showed a drunk person trying to eat an orange and it was hilarious. It's probably one of best acted scenes I've seen. Just remembering it makes me feel inspired by how much work he must have put into it🤩.
It's very interesting where we can find inspiration🤔. Sometimes it will come out of the blue. Sometimes we need to see something that someone else made to spark something creative in ourselves🎭🎨🖼.
Sometimes we get inspired because we can't find the item we are looking for to buy, so we have to make our own🤷🏽♀️. I think my next creative projects will be trying to make my own stamps. I actually forgot that I know how to do lino prints and I still have my carving tools from high school. I'm really surprised at myself, haha😅😅😅.
Thank you for taking us along with you to the exhibition at the cafe, and for showing us two very different styles of journaling. Even though they were different, they were also your style.
