I can't imagine a more beautiful song than this one that you chose
That was great Tony you are truly a master.........
Beginner here in this genre. Thank you sir.
Thank you sir tony..
Very useful video. I tend to voice some chords really well and others not so well. I've never heard of this as an actual system but I reckon it's really good and very helpful.
Great thanks
Thanx, Maestro 🌹🌹🌹
Thks as alwasy Tony!!
💚💚👽👽✌✌alien says: wow Tony Thanks you for share it! 💚💚👽🌏 keep in touch my friend 🌏🌏🚀
Great video as usual. Your whistle was responded by my neighboor's parrot early in the morning btw :)
It seems hand shapes of all formulas are the same , i think its ok just getting down - up appropriate fingers. For example i prefer use just first position to make it easy . For left 1-5 formulas there is already fifth in first formula. But in upper octave you know. I'm not sure whether it does matter anything. Will check . Thank you!
Gracias!!!!!!!!!!

Please do more videos about BEBOP Jazz Piano....Thanks a lot
Hey Tony. Thanks for video. Was only listening to wes Montgomery play this song this week and loved it. What is the name of the book where these open voicings can be found. Couldn't find "Berklee college of music open chord voicings magic formulas." Thanks again. Always great lessons
Not in any books that I know of. Herb Pomeroy taught it to Ted Howe who taught it to me.
@@TonyWinston I can't speak for anyone else but I'm so grateful for this approach. This opens so many doors. Thank you. Love your content
Hello Tony. My piano teacher always tells me not to double the third when doing open voicings. I noticed in the google doc you provided it says to double the third in the right hand when the third is the melody note.
Is there any video on reading sheet music faster?
Hello Tony, thank you for this useful video. May I ask a question ? I play in a quartet (sax, piano, bass, drum) for piano comping of the sax leader. Many times in my voicings I'm using the root and the 5th at the left hand, and, bad luck, these notes are also played by the guitar bass player ! I tried to play the 3rd and 7th but it's not so easy to apply. Thank you in advance for your advice on this issue.
It depends on what kind of music you're playing. Assuming you are playing jazz, root and cyst in the left-hand is not a good choice. Thirds and 7th are better but they can sound sparse. Try playing root, third and seventh with your left hand. I think I have a video about this try searching guide tones
@@TonyWinston Thank you for your answer, I will try to search your video about guide tones.
