Calibrate a telescope focuser and measure it's backlash

    Finally got around to doing this. Turns out my backlash was 50 in both directions (5 movements of 10). I've chucked this into NINA now, and hope to test it in the coming week (wet weather here for a while).
    Thanks for this! It was a really accurate way of measuring backlash

      Awesome! I will double check my settings as well when i get the time to it, its been over a year sience last time (with new focuser and camera on place)

      Indeed you should, they are amazing tools to a lot of things.
