Fun fact: Kenny has said that if it didn’t work out for him in pro wrestling and he had to get a “real job” he might’ve wound up being an English teacher. Kinda shows here. He comes off as an enthusiastic and patient teacher here.
Things I need to do on my bucket list Training session with kenny Doing Kenny's entrance with him. Kenny is really nice and chill guy to be around in person.
Needless to say, an amazing athlete! Kenny seems like a very nice, down to earth guy. Not sure why Jim Cornette keeps ripping him every chance he gets on his podcast.
I’d love to have Kenny omega as my wrestling trainer 🖤 amazing how I didn’t find this video til now lol I can honestly see Kenny doing this stuff when he retires from his wrestling career and getting more involved in video games too
Aj styles and Kenny omega are the best in wrestling right know , Allen's ring awareness and adaptability and kenny's style and charisma are the best things there is
Man that was awesome learning from the goat can't belive such a great Profesional wrestler like him never got basic wrestling training were I can find more these types of videos
I've seen clips of him from PWG a few years ago and a couple of 6 man matches on ROH TV. I think his The Elite videos are fun, too. Are his MOTY on DVD or his G1 run? Idk where to watch his NJPW matches. This was interesting. He obviously knows what he's doing and how to train people. He has the skills as a serious wrestler, too bad his critics always harp on his few comedy matches.
I love how modern wrestlers are tough but still business smart. The oldschool guys tended to use more bullying tactics and trial by fire. Nothing wrong with that aproach it works for the military i had sgts that were very oldschool, but i gotta say when people are more about the show and less about themselves getting over it just creates great matches
you all prolly dont give a shit but does someone know a trick to get back into an Instagram account? I was stupid lost my login password. I would love any help you can give me.
@Kaiden Arian i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Man, Kenny Omega is such an inspiration, I'm 22, but the think is that I'm Romanian and I live in Spain, and here wrestling is not very popular, and we all know that foreign people don't succeed in the WWE or any other big promotion, so what can I do? Follow my dream to be a wrestler even if I don't succeed? Or just forget all about it and get a job that luckily would please me? I don't know what to do.
My advice is to follow your dream, get trained in pro wrestling schools. There are many in the United States, Canada and other places. So I recommend saving a lot of money and go to those places to get trained. Also train hard on your body, you want to look good as well in order to get their attention. You should do fine. I wish you good luck on your future training as long as you do not give up.
being a professional wrestler is as hard as a professional mma fighter or a professional basketball players, jeez! i thought its easy to execute a full wrestling match, but its not, especially delivering a 5* match, and the rare 7* match! wow!
It's Meltzer's opinion for fucks sake. It's not like there's a government body or an international association of pro wrestling that rates the matches. He's one of the most knowledgeable historians in wrestling but he's never stepped a foot in the ring. It's just his opinion. Wrestlers prefer accomplished workers to rate their matches.
Kenny omega is the modern day triple h. Both were the best of there time. They are both amazing i wish would could've saw HHH VS OMEGA. Freakin they both are the 5 star match kings.
have honestly never watched a Kenny Omega match, heard about the fan fare. After seeing this, I am going to check it out. The scary part is, he is only 33, and this is recorded 2 years ago. Think about another 10 years and how good he could be.
+Brandon Petrie i think when most people do the leap frog it's usually from in the middle where theres more spring from the ring so they can get higher, maybe best guess
+Brandon Petrie They not jump so much of the ground...one guy jumps, splits the legs (look at his belly when he jumps, not legs) and the other guy ducks
One of the best most exciting most charismatic wrestlers I've ever seen. How the WWE did not pick this guy up is beyond me he would've been the next Brian Pillman
I agree if u can get non wrestling fans entertained in your wrestling that is great and helps bring more eyes on ur product. That's what wwe has been doing for 30 years by bringing in entertainers actors jackass crew etc. How else are u gonna get even more viewers on ur product
I don't know. Sounds like this guy was teaching a dance class rather than a wrestling match. I would really be shocked if any of those students took anything from someone who was too full of himself to allow himself to be trained like they are currently doing.
In the full video he details that he was trained at a later date by Dave Taylor who helped him iron out the things he had self-learned. It's not that he isn't formally trained, the point he makes is that his learning process was more organic and that there isn't a secret formula for a good match that you can learn. Pro wrestling is very much like dance in that it is a means of expression, specifically it's about telling a story. The only incorrect way to do it is in a way that puts yourself or your opponent at risk.
Like hulk hogan? John Cena? The rock? Cm Punk? Macho man? Etc. Etc. They all play to the crowd frequently during matches and have like 3-5 "signatures" they do every match
@ashoftomorrow Dude said nothing offensive, you took it personally, offended yourself without the OC even trying to, and wrote a paragraph on something that didn't even start to begin with. Kudos to you for making a 5* wrestling work.
He seems like he has got to be one of the most genuinely humble people in the business
Kenny seems to actually be a great teacher, you can tell he lets you create yourself around him.
"Watch that head butt. You scaddlywag."
I knew Kenny Omega was big and ripped but he's fucking huge, holy shit.
MOX This is a pretty old vid, now he's fucking Jacked.
Haven't watched wrestling in a while, so I might watch WK if only to see how jacked he is.
murray1234567891011 Been meaning to get around to watching that just haven't had the time. Same with the uk tournament.
Fun fact: Kenny has said that if it didn’t work out for him in pro wrestling and he had to get a “real job” he might’ve wound up being an English teacher.
Kinda shows here. He comes off as an enthusiastic and patient teacher here.
Lol Kenny had a real job before wrestling career. He was a cleaner 😂
Famous words from Kenny Omega: "Ooh, ow, my spleen" 😂
It's amazing how Kenny Omega even is entertaining when teaching others.
ikr idk why im watching this bu5 im looking for the dvd now lmao

Damn Kenny seems like a damn cool teacher.
I would love to be trained by Kenny omega he makes it seem so simple and sounds very intelligent on breaking down the do's and don'ts in the ring

kenny omega is the man.i like this guy.he is great
Needless to say, an amazing athlete! Kenny seems like a very nice, down to earth guy. Not sure why Jim Cornette keeps ripping him every chance he gets on his podcast.
Jim keeps ripping into Kenny because Corny wants wrestling to stay in 1986.
If Kenny Omega called me a scallywag, I would be so happy.
fiveinchesofwow Hell if i fcuk kenny. I wouldn't even ask to call a cab or coffee in the morning.

Training with Kenny Omega...what a fucking dream ahahaha
Found out about this guy last week when i watched him stabbing AJ Styles in the back and he's now my favorite wrestler..

Rhonda White and now he is the best in the world ;-)
He looks just like Tom Magee from the 80s (the guy Vince McMahon thought was going to be his "next champion" after Bret Hart made him look good).
Both from Winnipeg too lol
ROFL, I thought he looks like a buff Marty Janetty.

Mike Del training with Kenny Omega is pretty cool to see.

When he was doing hammerlocks was expecting him to give him a v trigger whilst holding his arm.
