The first time I saw the fancam of Pablo performing Kumunoy, nakanganga lang ako the whole time. I was really amazed. Kahit sa cellphone lang yon, damang dama ko yung kanta pati yung stage presence nya sobrang lakas. A total performer, truly an artist. He deserves the world, SB19 DESERVES THE WORLD.

I was in GITZ Manila when Pablo performed the full version of Kumunoy. It was one of the most emotional and most lauded performance that afternoon. I remember myself crying as I watch him cry on stage. 🥺 Since then, Kumunoy has been my fave song. It’s dark, yes, but real and raw. It became my anthem as I battle my own demons. It's liberating and inspiring at the same time. Thank you, MattSummerTV, for all the SB19 contents.

Kumunoy is one of my favorite unreleased songs of Pablo. There is a redemption part at the end of the song. Yes, the first part of song triggers a lot of dark and heavy emotions but the bridge of this song is very liberating. I really admire Pablo's talent.

Congrats for your thought-provoking reactions to the work/ talents of SB19, particularly Pablo’s songwriting skills.. your vlog is not the the typical reaction videos; at least you seemed to tackle issues beyond the obvious, and issues that are relevant to you and your viewers.. this time you talked about depression as expressed in Kumonoy..this is prevalent and further accentuated by this Pandemic.. as validated by many comments, they feel that the song articulated their fears/ frustrations and this allowed them to come face to face with their demons and knowing someone is going through the same experience give them courage, release and reassurance, that iKaw at ako , we share the same journey and hopefully we will survive!! I'll be honest, when i heard this kumunoy it made me burst in tears, ang bigat niya sa pakiramdam, yung feeling na mas naawa ako sa sarili ko, but I can't help listening to it, despite sa bigat na na feel ko hearing the song makes me sad but his voice somehow brings comfort to my soul how ironic. But i think kahit ang depressing niya hindi ako magsasawa pakinggan kasi i feel like I'm not the only one who has kumunoy moment and seeing pablo now I get to realize he overcome his kumunoy and ako rin, kaya ko din.

This is my Kumunoy Story: I was never that person who'll admit I'm lonely before. It was Year 2020 when I realised I'm actually losing myself right after i heard Kumunoy (live version). My lola died last April, 2019, and I kept on telling myself, I'm okay. Then this pandemic started to press me down, then i told myself, I'm still okay. I keep on convincing myself I'm okay and that I don't need help from others. I nearly forgot how to Pray. Tsk. Then, July came. I became an A'tin. T'was midnight when I came across Kumunoy. I thought isa lang syang ordinaryong kanta, but i was wrong... That freakin' song made me cry for like hours... I kept on crying and i didn't know why.... Inulit ko ang lyrics and here's why I think this song is actually legendary: "Kumunoy spoke of the things I never wanted to admit. I found comfort in almost all the lines coz it reminded me that someone is actually going through that phase in life and that i'm not alone. The last part yung sabi nya, "kailangan ko ng tulong nyo". At some point in life, nakakalimutan naten humingi ng tulong. Then here's the redemption part, "pasensya na at nakalimutan kong nariyan lang kayo sa aking tabi"..... Nakakalimutan nating may mga taong handang makinig. Kung binabasa mo man to: it's okay to admit na nasa kumunoy tayo... It's okay to talk about our problems. Let's just don't forget that someone out there is willing to hear you out. Makakawala din tayo sa kumunoy.....

Yassss they are one of Pinuno's masterpieces. You'll definitely see there how talented Pinuno is in composing songs. He's always have a way with his words that really people can relate to and also moves them. Pablo was one of the greatest music gem in today's generation and in the years to come. He is such a great lyricist and his music is always earnest and sincere.
Kumunoy has actually a bridge part where he suddenly realizes that there are people beside him who he can ask help for, it also comes with a line of "Salamat oh aking Ama, ako'y makakaahon din!" (this part is performed in gitz concert). Pesonally, every time I listen to Kumunoy, it feels like I am not alone in my darkest times and realizes that I can share my pain with someone. Hehe.
Sobrang taas ng respeto ko sa mga songwriter, composer and lyricist. Kasi not everyone can do that. Kaya madalas mas nafa-fall in love ako sa song dahil sa lyrics at melody. Laging runner up lang yung kung sinoman ang kumanta or yung boses ng kumanta. I used to be a songwriter back in highschool and college days. So siguro malaking factor yun why Im a fan of a person behind the songs that I love. Kaya nga sana dito sa Pinas, mag invest ang music industry sa paghahanap ng songwriters. Napakarami jan, hindi lang nadidiscover pero ang dami na nilang compositions pero nakatago sa baul.

I also think na it’s a very big advantage na SB19 mismo ang nagsusulat ng lyrics nila, especially Pablo. Dahil sila nga ang nagsulat mararamdaman mo talaga yung genuine messages na gusto nila iparating.
Don’t worry po kuya, if you would listen to the whole song, di po siya purely about giving up. At the end, the persona of Kumunoy realizes that he has friends and family that he can hold onto, implying that he can’t only do his battles alone.
Idk pero everytime napapakinggan ko yung kumunoy naiiyak ako palagi. This is my favorite song na kinompose ni Sejun. Ramdam na ramdam ko yung nararamdaman nya habang sinusulat nya to, yung struggles and hardships na pinagdaanan nya para makarating kung nasaan man siya ngayon. For me na napakinggan to after ko sila e-stan, it makes me stronger and mas lalo akong namomotivate kasi alam ko just like him meron talaga tayong "kumunoy" pero nilabanan nya yon and look at him now. Na kahit pala ganiyan si Sejun kasuccessful ngayon katulad din naten siya, merong kumunoy sa puso at some point of his life and if he succeeded overcoming his own kumunoy then I can too.

Same exp. I first heard kumunoy without the redemption part too when I was in a very very dark place and it comforted me, like there's someone holding your hands and as you said, understands you. Kumunoy has a full version. Sayang 'di niyo po napanood. Sa latter part ng song, naliwanagan siya sa lahat, na nahanap niya ulit yung ilaw na nawala sa kanya. Napagtanto niya na hindi sa lahat ng oras, kakayanin niya mag isa dahil may mga pamilya at kaibigan siya na handang tumulong sa oras na nasa madilim na parte siya ng buhay niya. Malaki talaga ang tiwala ng ShowBT sa SB19 and it’s very evident naman. Makikita natin kung gaano ka hands-on ang SB19 sa mga activities nila, yes di lang sa music nila kundi sa mismong activities nila. Kung tutuusin napaka swerte ng ShowBT dahil SB19 always takes the initiative to do things by themselves pero SB19 is also lucky to have a company like ShowBT na sobrang laking suporta at tiwala ang binibigay lagi sakanila.
Can't forget how Pablo broke down to tears when he sang Kumunoy at the Manila concert. Grabe kilabot and iyak ko nun. I feel Pablo, it's as if he's freed off of those heavy loads in his chest, he has when he wrote the song, when he sang it at the concert. It's a mix of joy and relief because of the validation he sees during the concert.
Actually pinapakinggan ko to pag nasstress ako. Hindi naman siya nakakatrigger sakin. I just feel I'm not alone. Parang nasa kanta kasi yung nafifeel ko- sinasabi na nung kanta yung nafifeel ko. It feels like it voices or verbalizes what I feel. Kaya fave ko rin tong kanta ni Sej.
For me, true that the lyrics are too dark and triggerring talaga. But I that’s one of the reason why I still listen to this. This makes me think and realize na it’s not just me who feels that way. There’s a bit of assurance na it’s okay to feel that way, and at the end you’ll eventually get out of your own Kumunoy. You just need to accept that you’re in it, then you’ll know how will you get out of it. May need attempt several times, but still keep going you’ll eventually free yourself. 💙

I was in GITZ Manila when Pablo performed the full version of Kumunoy. It was one of the most emotional and most lauded performance that afternoon. I remember myself crying as I watch him cry on stage. 🥺 Since then, Kumunoy has been my fave song. It’s dark, yes, but real and raw. It became my anthem as I battle my own demons. It's liberating and inspiring at the same time.

Kumunoy is one of my favorite unreleased songs of Pablo. There is a redemption part at the end of the song. Yes, the first part of song triggers a lot of dark and heavy emotions but the bridge of this song is very liberating. I really admire Pablo's talent.

I'll be honest, when i heard this kumunoy it made me burst in tears, ang bigat niya sa pakiramdam, yung feeling na mas naawa ako sa sarili ko, but I can't help listening to it, despite sa bigat na na feel ko hearing the song makes me sad but his voice somehow brings comfort to my soul how ironic. This is my Kumunoy Story:
I was never that person who'll admit I'm lonely before. It was Year 2020 when I realised I'm actually losing myself right after i heard Kumunoy (live version). My lola died last April, 2019, and I kept on telling myself, I'm okay. Then this pandemic started to press me down, then i told myself, I'm still okay. I keep on convincing myself I'm okay and that I don't need help from others. I nearly forgot how to Pray. Tsk. Then, July came. I became an A'tin. T'was midnight when I came across Kumunoy. I thought isa lang syang ordinaryong kanta, but i was wrong... That freakin' song made me cry for like hours... I kept on crying and i didn't know why.... Inulit ko ang lyrics and here's why I think this song is actually legendary:
"Kumunoy spoke of the things I never wanted to admit. I found comfort in almost all the lines coz it reminded me that someone is actually going through that phase in life and that i'm not alone. The last part yung sabi nya, "kailangan ko ng tulong nyo". At some point in life, nakakalimutan naten humingi ng tulong. Then here's the redemption part, "pasensya na at nakalimutan kong nariyan lang kayo sa aking tabi"..... Nakakalimutan nating may mga taong handang makinig.
Kung binabasa mo man to: it's okay to admit na nasa kumunoy tayo... It's okay to talk about our problems. Let's just don't forget that someone out there is willing to hear you out. Makakawala din tayo sa kumunoy.....

Yassss they are one of Pinuno's masterpieces. You'll definitely see there how talented Pinuno is in composing songs. He's always have a way with his words that really people can relate to and also moves them. Pablo was one of the greatest music gem in today's generation and in the years to come. He is such a great lyricist and his music is always earnest and sincere.
Kumunoy has actually a bridge part where he suddenly realizes that there are people beside him who he can ask help for, it also comes with a line of "Salamat oh aking Ama, ako'y makakaahon din!" (this part is performed in gitz concert). Pesonally, every time I listen to Kumunoy, it feels like I am not alone in my darkest times and realizes that I can share my pain with someone. Hehe.

Sobrang taas ng respeto ko sa mga songwriter, composer and lyricist. Kasi not everyone can do that. Kaya madalas mas nafa-fall in love ako sa song dahil sa lyrics at melody. Laging runner up lang yung kung sinoman ang kumanta or yung boses ng kumanta. I used to be a songwriter back in highschool and college days. So siguro malaking factor yun why Im a fan of a person behind the songs that I love. Kaya nga sana dito sa Pinas, mag invest ang music industry sa paghahanap ng songwriters. Napakarami jan, hindi lang nadidiscover pero ang dami na nilang compositions pero nakatago sa baul.

Idk pero everytime napapakinggan ko yung kumunoy naiiyak ako palagi. This is my favorite song na kinompose ni Sejun. Ramdam na ramdam ko yung nararamdaman nya habang sinusulat nya to, yung struggles and hardships na pinagdaanan nya para makarating kung nasaan man siya ngayon. For me na napakinggan to after ko sila e-stan, it makes me stronger and mas lalo akong namomotivate kasi alam ko just like him meron talaga tayong "kumunoy" pero nilabanan nya yon and look at him now. Na kahit pala ganiyan si Sejun kasuccessful ngayon katulad din naten siya, merong kumunoy sa puso at some point of his life and if he succeeded overcoming his own kumunoy then I can too.

I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety. When I first heard kumunoy without the redemption part. It didn't triggered me. It's actually comfort. A song that understands you, listens and embrace you. Idk. Maybe it's just me. I also listen to NF. Pablo's favorite artist and he also discuss mental awareness.

Same exp. I first heard kumunoy without the redemption part too when I was in a very very dark place and it comforted me, like there's someone holding your hands and as you said, understands you. It translates what I am feeling that time perfectly. God knows that that song and kelan were my crying buddies then ikako was the finishing act that will pat your back.

Malaki talaga ang tiwala ng ShowBT sa SB19 and it’s very evident naman. Makikita natin kung gaano ka hands-on ang SB19 sa mga activities nila, yes di lang sa music nila kundi sa mismong activities nila. Kung tutuusin napaka swerte ng ShowBT dahil SB19 always takes the initiative to do things by themselves pero SB19 is also lucky to have a company like ShowBT na sobrang laking suporta at tiwala ang binibigay lagi sakanila.

Can't forget how Pablo broke down to tears when he sang Kumunoy at the Manila concert. Grabe kilabot and iyak ko nun. I feel Pablo, it's as if he's freed off of those heavy loads in his chest, he has when he wrote the song, when he sang it at the concert. It's a mix of joy and relief because of the validation he sees during the concert.

For me, true that the lyrics are too dark and triggerring talaga. But I that’s one of the reason why I still listen to this. This makes me think and realize na it’s not just me who feels that way. There’s a bit of assurance na it’s okay to feel that way, and at the end you’ll eventually get out of your own Kumunoy. You just need to accept that you’re in it, then you’ll know how will you get out of it. May need attempt several times, but still keep going you’ll eventually free yourself. 💙
