I’ve never been to the NI but I love the bike videos I love to go biking I feel like I’m actually there. I see much more riding on mostly flat roads no hills to climb it’s a beautiful country.
Thank you for this video. I have a few questions. I am an American who loved in Driebergen and then Doorn in 1967-1970, ages 10-13. I must have biked from one town to another hundreds of times. Most of the time I took the road through what I remember as woods, to Institut Coolsma and back. I'm sure it went past the Kaiser's old house on the left (coming from Doorn) and a cemetery on the right. Do you have any footage of that road? Is it built up now? I also remember a road that went into the Doorn town center, and at first I thought that was the road on this video, but the funny thing is that going from Driebergen to Doorn, the bike path was on the left. That road went past Van Bijnenlaan, where we first lived. Is this the same road?? In Doorn we lived in a townhouse on Beatrixlaan, at the top of a hill. There were woods behind us, with one house in the woods more or less directly behind us. Do you have any footage of this street? Are the woods gone now? I assume so. Thanks again.
Hi Ken, Thanks for the comment. I don't live in Doorn, so I am not so familiar with the streets you mention. Google maps + satellite view will tell you whether the streets still exist and now far the forest has been cut down. Doorn is still in the woods, as far as I know. I don't have much other footage of Doorn, other than one route from Zeist to Wageningen (or Ede) which is in the list of videos.
Winter wonderland, great video!

Most of NL is as flat as a pancake. Easy riding.
Thank you very much,
You're welcome!

I LIKE A TRIP........IN THE STONE AGE !!!!
2010... toen het nog fatsoenlijk sneeuwde...
Heb inderdaad geen sneeuw gezien de laatste jaren
Stone age? More like ice age! :-)
i love riding in the winter. It's nature's huge air conditioner for the hot body of a cyclist.
Toen lag er nog wel sneeuw Haha
Those were the days....
