- From humble beginnings as an amateur moto prospect growing up in East Germany, Ken Roczen’s rise to the elite level has been an epic story to follow. After achieving world championship status in Europe, Roczen headed straight to the US with nothing but victory in his sights. Now arguably the most popular rider both on and off the track, Roczen has overcome what could have been multiple career ending injuries and is back in the mix at the top of his Class. Go behind the scenes with Ken as he prepared for the 2020 Supercross season at his private compound in Florida. This is Ken Roczen, Unplugged.

Finally a video showing a rider being an actual person. Saying the kinds of things every rider at some point says. Like "dude......I overjumped the shit out of that!" Riders are NOT politicians! The governing bodies and sponsors need to stop expecting them to be.
Moto guys are animals...we all are so him saying "I'm gonna blitz the fuck out of those whoops" is awesome to me because that's how we all are! ...you want real fans and people to truly like these guys then keep showing the true people under the gear...we are all the same and it's a beautiful thing
Like I said above, good values are worth holding onto. I swear, mostly in my shop. But I am not going to spread my bad habit on film for the world to see.
"It is real!" you say? So are a lot of nasty things. So the next time you see the news glorying the bum on the street, or the porno star trying to take down our President, ask yourself, "Why don't they glorify people who have moral values and inspiring virtue?". Because as time goes by,---we will reap what we sow. Like I said above, this is a small deal compared to a lot of stuff published today, including TV, but just pay attention to which direction you're heading. Good values are so hard to come by, once they are lost. I am getting old now, and that is why I can see it. I was guilty, now I see it.
@@brodyrichard263 Murders are real people also. Muggers are real people and the worst thing of all, Lawyers are real people too. But so are people who are great. We used to look up to people who were great, and moral. Unfortunately, most of those people are dead now, and no school remembers them. Man, this nation was so full of great people with great accomplishments, (and we looked up to them as kids, so we can be better people ourselves) and now we glorify a guy not because he is great, but because he used profanity on film.
Excuse my language please,--But that is PHucked up! Roczen is a great guy. But that should have been blipped, (and he should have fixed it). You wait and see what the next generation after you embraces. Moto guys are not animals,---but mankind is shifting to that direction, generation after generation after generation.
I bet you will remember reading this to,-----eventually. It is our choice.

Cool video Fox! To Kenny,: you are my inspiring hero. I've watched motocross and Supercross racing for at least 45 years, and you stand out of the hundreds of riders.
I dont ride moto anymore... But ride mountain bikes. Fox has been my chosen gear for 30 yrs as well. Even still rockin' my 30 year old jersey. Lol. Coming back from those Injuries makes you my superhero. I have health issues that impact my daily living and your story helped me to keep on keeping on and keep running my own race. At 53, it's a challenge to even get on the bike sometimes. Hugs and love to you and family. 😊👍😎

I am not sure how long he has been in the USA, but I have watched him here for about the last 3 or 4 years. One thing I never noticed was a German accent,--at all. In fact, he sounds like a So Cal. Metro-sexual, (A guy not being masculine, but more feminine to get gals who are also confused, inner city stuff), from the 90's.
kidding. I thought it was very impressive that I never heard a german accent from him, (except one vid as a 12 year old in Germany). It is very, no, it is extremely rare to lose the entire accent, even after a decade or more,----------------------------------------- and I bet that is why he is so fast. :)

Guys I don't want to sound like a prude, but I sat down with my 6yo to watch this. He loves Kroc and loves his fox gear. We watched ACs video and that was awesome as well. Love the effects! But surely you could beep out the f bombs or warn us at the start. Loved it other than that! Just as well it wasn't on the tv in front of Mum!!

Roczen's big injuries took their toll. I don't see him transitioning back to past form. That said, I love his spirit....which has no doubt helped to save is arm and help him heal.
Won 4 races during SX and had the red plate for a good chunk if it wasn’t for shingles he may have been close to winning the title.
He led the most laps this last season and had the most holeshots. I think you ought to reconsider your comment.

@Chris Jackson Tons of issues within orthodox western medicine for sure. Just look at the way potential covid-19 treatments have been handled (or brushed to the side as much as possible).
@Chris Jackson He had compound fractures and what a surgeon called one of the worst arm injuries he'd ever seen and had compartment syndrome. If he had these "better doctors" he might not have an arm at all.

He is the best rider in the world once everything dialed in . He must be getting over those injuries plus getting that Honda absolutely fine tuned for 2021 supercross . I don’t think anyone has seen the true potential of Kroc on that Honda .

Dude when when he said “I jumped the shit out of that double!” , man, that was so friickn hilarious bc I can sooo relate to that and brought back good ol’ memories trying to nail down the timing when I was on my 85 for a 90-100’ double that was a straight booter and was one of about 3 maybe 4 85’s that was hitting it every lap that I would periodically see at the track (Club Moto track in CA that Kellen/SYS made a MX Sim vid on) when I was there
Same thing for the “fucking blitz the whoops” comment too again when I was on my 85 racing at Oatfield in CA where they sometimes hold a Loretta qualifier at. They weren’t crazy supercross style whoops but had a pretty big run up to em and was a long section so you came in hot and stayed hot pretty much all the way through, so very first time I hit em halfway through practice the day before I straight up blitzed the fuck out of them and swapped like a mf’r 3/4 of the way through and held on for dear life ✊🤷♂️
Ended up winning both races overall and 2nd in the other motos. Sometimes you literally just gotta send it and hope for the best dealing with the consequences *knock on wood* later. Pin it to win it baby

Yup; just like after a knee injury I won't ride moto without my knee braces now even though my knees are fine. It's as much psychological as physical to be honest.

Looks like Dunlop MX33's on that bike too, a very popular tire, (just got mine on the rims). But if the ink stripes over the knobs are different on mine, does that mean he has a different tire compound than my do?
(which I do not have a problem with. It's "Testing", part of the job for a sponsored pro racer.)
But Dunlop, for the cost, they should be made in the USA and not Indonesia. Gotta Talk with Trump about a tire tariff and get the epa off your back when home. :)
