thanks man like yours was the only one that finally worked if u see this comment i will like to know why people who were changing the bash profile at that time it was not working
Thank you so much for this tutorial, it was very much needed..!! I was not able to find any yt video which was able to resolve this error, but this video of your's did!👍🏼
Hi Krishna, in case you dont have this file then follow below steps. Open terminal type below command touch .zshrc this will create .zshrc file To check file is present or not type ls -al
I used brew to install mySQL and workbench works fine and runs. But when I go to my /usr/local directory mysql isn't there so I cannot use this fix. Any ideas?
hey sir, everytime I open terminal, there is notification zshrc:1: command not found: PATH, what should I do? please kindly reply my comment, best regards.
This is my path variables /opt/homebrew/bin:/usr/local/bin:/System/Cryptexes/App/usr/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/var/run/com.apple.security.cryptexd/codex.system/bootstrap/usr/local/bin:/var/run/com.apple.security.cryptexd/codex.system/bootstrap/usr/bin:/var/run/com.apple.security.cryptexd/codex.system/bootstrap/usr/appleinternal/bin
When you enterd the command 'vi .zshrc' in the terminal and it shows the warning message, all you have to do is type 'D' and press enter. This will permanently delete the already existing .zshrc.swp file. The next step is: 1. (optinal) type 'echo $PATH' and press enter. This will show you that mysql is not updated in the system path. Therefore, you will have to load the path by entering the command: 2. (this is compulsory) quit your terminal, open it again and enter the command 'source .zshrc' and press enter. This will load and update mysql into your path variable so that your system will recoginze it. And finally, quit the current terminal once again, reopen it, and type 'echo $PATH' command. This time, sure enough, you will see mysql succesfully loaded and updarted in the your path. To confirm the existence of mysql in your path, type: 3. 'mysql -u root -p' command. Hope this helps.

why did you write VI?
VI is editor to create edit write file.
