Another god kite reewild here Are some ideas to what You Can be testing. The Harlem Force, pivot nvision, the new Nitro and the new ozone vortex. Already looking looking forward to your next video
I've only been able to get out on one in very light winds unfortunately, so hope to try it properly in big air conditions one day to do a proper review
Jason: big fan over your videos keep going. As someone who is riding a lot of different kite, have you tried running Duotone clickbars on North orbit and/or Reach? Does it work well if you remove the y-split or is it better to go with the navigator bar?
@@jasonofmontrealawesome, thx. I think I’ll gradually move over to North, I’ve not had any durability issues with the click bar or lines, but I’ve had many issues with the LE strut popping on my rebel SLS’ and juice/evo DLAB…
Hey Jason can you try a Ventum kite? Its a dutch brand but build quality is really good and it is cheaper because there is no marketing bullshit or stores who resell. Im honestly curious what you think about them!
@@deeearnshaw9551 I really enjoyed my xr7’s for woosting and angry loops, but it’s a bit harder to use and trickier for progression than these kites so I’m not sure how much the aluula would help that given the shape is still very similar… but you don’t know until you try of course
I will try to test the code or whatever Jeremy’s kite is when it’s released later in the year, that seems to be the signature big air kite from slingshot
I think the pivot is a great all-rounder, but not specifically one of the better big air kites I've flown. If you want a kite that you can progress with, wave ride, foil, and still jump pretty high while doing loops with it's certainly one of the better ones out there though.
Probably 6th, it's a bit hard to say because I didn't of course ride all these kites on the same day. As I said in my Nitro review I think I preferred the Nitro under 30 knot sand the Orbit over 30, but that was based on the '23 orbit which was a bit quicker... with all of these kites, on a given day I might prefer one over the other as they are all brilliant.
@@jasonofmontreal OK nice! Did you notice any big differences between the 21, 22 and 23 Orbit ? I know the 21 differs from the original model and I'm thinking about upgrading my 8m 2021 for a 22 or 23 .. probably wouldn't take the 24 if its slower..
@@yiimbob7805 the 24 is only marginally slower than 23, but certainly more stable, so better in much heavier winds etc… I did so review on it a few months ago
I haven’t been able to test it (I do own some Xr7’s), although I’m not sure it would surpass this list though for overall riding, but definitely woosting 😂
@@jasonofmontrealxr8 loops completely different to the now almost 3 year old xr7 and the xr pro completely different league, would be top of this list had you tried it
@@vikingh3008 that a possibility sure, but from what I have see of the pros using it, it does look like it performs at its best when it's super windy. I've noticed of the few aluula kites I've used, they do benefit a lot from 3 struts as well for loops and overall riding.
@@jasonofmontreal well big air equals big winds so yes they designed a kite for that, Josh doubled looped the 8m in comp, many of the other riders only doubles on 6 and 7m for the treble loops they are developing a new 3 strut kite, but that won’t be jumping as high as the xr pro that currently holds both male and female woo records
@@vikingh3008 I’m aware of all that, and I did really enjoy my XR7’s when I still rode them too so I’m sure the new and improved ones are also amazing kites.
best reviews out there Jason,,,, big thanks
thanks man
Really appreciate you making these videos. Always looking forward to the next one!
Thanks mate
Big fan of your reviews! keep it up 💪🏽

Your reviews are the best there is, keep up the good work 🤙✨
thanks, will do

Great work mate!!

Ozone Vortex arriving!
Excited about that one
great work man! Super helpful! But we defenitley need the XR Pro in your hands.
Hopefully
i will try the Harlem Force, got only good feedback from friends.

Nice thank you for the tips
no problem

It should work just fine without the splitter and swapping the pigtails around. The north bar is a bit heavier and a lot more durable though
@@jasonofmontrealawesome, thx. I think I’ll gradually move over to North, I’ve not had any durability issues with the click bar or lines, but I’ve had many issues with the LE strut popping on my rebel SLS’ and juice/evo DLAB…

I'm afraid I've never heard of them, so not sure they'll be available in NZ to borrow anytime soon.
@@jasonofmontreal Yeah it is not really known world wide option is to contact the owner and give it a try to test the kite out he is super kind!
@@jorgenschippers7518 it would cost his 200euro and the price of the kite to send it to NZ, so it's not really in their best interest to be honest

@@jorgenschippers7518 no worries at all
Thanks for the review mate!
Do you always demo kites with the same line length or do you change according to the manufacturer's choice for its bar?
If they have a 22n option I go with that, if not it’s usually 23… every kite has been 22 except the ozone edge and flysurfer era
Are you planning to test the XR Pro?
@@deeearnshaw9551 I’d love to but we don’t have a core shop in nz so they’re hard to get hold of

I will try to test the code or whatever Jeremy’s kite is when it’s released later in the year, that seems to be the signature big air kite from slingshot

I have tried it a few times, but not enough to get a good enough feel for it to make a compelling video review

I should also mention I've not tried the last two models of pivot btw
No Rise?
I loved the Rise v1, but it’s just a shade off of these kites overall. Probably the fastest looping kite.
@@jasonofmontreal just in terms of boost and hang time then I guess
