Michael Wittmann was a German Waffen-SS tank commander during the Second World War. He is known for his ambush of elements of the British 7th Armoured Division during the Battle of Villers-Bocage on 13 June 1944.

PS For more authenticity british side need Universal carriers and М3 "Stuart", german commander need officer tank cap. In real battle tank of Michael Wittmann was damaged hovewer Wittmann survived and continued to kick ass to western allies until august 8...

Hes a legend. Maybe not for good or for any of the right reasons but one cant deny that Michael Whitmann was one of if not the best tank commander in world history. Honestly if the Tigers had been better developed with better engines and fuel systems he and his unit might have made it to the end of the war.

But in the reality the tank of Wittman had been hit and lost so far as I remember. However Britishers even so had lost the town, they had returned it just in August 1944.
LOL A Tiger gun shooting at point blank would blow a M8 Car to smithereens and in this game it is just a tiny explosion with the vehicle not even moving. Assume this is an old game.

Actor_state script when creating a mod or mission in the editor. Or by using cheat mods.

Really nice map
But how it possible that direct hit from a Tiger into front of a Sherman doesn't penetrate it. In reality Sherman tank would be destroyed wherever hited by a Tiger tank. This game still lacks realism. Only with Jumbo version of a Sherman , a Tiger tank would have a problem to destroy it from front.
If the shell hit the sherman with a very steep angle it could bounce, but I do agree that they could make the tank combat more realism. Still a lot better than CoH

I'm glad you're not Michael Wittmann. You'd probably of single-handedly kept Villers-Bocage under German control -- perhaps even won the war. 😅🤣
