- Let me share a fun and easy technique called Faux Silk. I will show it three different ways showing what to do and what not to do. The original card was inspired from Sandi Rule, and it was a great layout to showcase the Faux Silk technique.

There's so many techniques you can do with it. Have fun creating!
I don’t know what your background is but I’m sure the “arts” is in there somewhere. I just love your techniques thank you.
Thanks so much. It's an old technique for sure but everything comes full circle!
The background is our beautiful Leaf Fall 3D embossing folder on page 53 of the 2022 Jul - Dec mini catalog. It is easily missed.
Just my opinion but i like this in brown tones more than color
I made some faux silk seedlings today with the Elmers glue and it never dried clear but left yellow brown areas on the cards. Did I do something wrong? I waited at least 10 minutes before I added the glue and tissue paper but it left the stains on the cardstock.
Did you use a glue stick or the actual Elmer’s liquid glue? Also what color ink did you stamp in?
@@creatingwithcolleenmagness5835 i bought an Elmer's purple glue stick and I stamped in Mossy meadow
Why is your sound not in sink with the video? Anyway lovely cards and l love the technique, thanks!
Cards are beautiful but your voice over does not sync with your movements which is distracting!
Will check into this. One never knows when it comes to technology.
