Thank you! Big difference between repenting and trusting in Christ, and a mental belief in Christ.

    New Living Translation
For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: *Christ lives in you.* This gives you assurance of sharing his glory Col.1:27

Rev13:20. I was taught that that scripture is about church discipline as Jesus was talking to a church of believers?

Thank you for this video. This is so useless and doesn’t turn ppl honestly to Christ. I did the “sinners prayer” and asked Jesus into my heart. I was still living in sin but it gave me a false sense of comfort. I was still fornicating, stealing, lying and being promiscuous but thought I was saved. It wasn’t until I got the true gospel and was baptized that my mind was renewed and I truly changed thanks to the Holy Spirit. I know ppl mean well but I’d rather they at least utilize Romans 10:9-10 that’s at least biblical.

I think this kind of video just turned off 100’s of people who were willing to ask Jesus in their hearts! Why do people like this many even doubt asking Jesus into your heart? Yes of course you need to repent how else can you ask Jesus into your heart?

I was with you until the 3 minute mark. No one allows Jesus to save them. He saves who the Father has appointed since before the foundation of the world and Jesus grants the gifts of repentance and faith.

That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

@iAbolitionist That sounds like Calvinism , not the Bible. All ppl everywhere are commanded to repent (Acts 17:30) and God's will is that no one perish, but that every single person repents (2 Peter 3:9). But He won't do it for us. God gifts us the grace and opportunity to turn to Him, but WE MUST ACT and do it (Acts 2:40).

@@ENiNjAnime Its all in scripture. no one comes to the Son unless the Father draws him. Repentance and faith are gifts from God. He has chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world. We were predestined. We can do NOTHING of our own accord, salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, to the glory of God alone, according to the scriptures alone.

@@ThereforeGo Nowhere and I mean nowhere does the BIBLE say "alone". For example, we are saved by the blood of Christ, but not the blood "alone". We are saved by "grace", but not grace "alone". I can go on and on. But you have to let the Bible interpret itself. How does the bible say God draws a person? The very next verse (John 6:45) tells you how they are drawn. "Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father, comes to Me"
So how does the Father draw? When a sinner "hears and learns" and this is exactly what Rom. 10:17 affirms.
