- Mom is home alone with all 4 kids for a WEEK! Part 1.
Get ready for super mom Cara. NOT ALL HEROS WEAR CAPES! Husband Darik had a work trip in Atlanta, GA, and had to leave Cara and the babies for an entire week! This was the first time we have ever had all 4 babies be alone with one parent overnight. Let alone a week! We were nervous to say the least of the work load Cara would have. We planned a few days where family members would pop in to say hi and hold some babies for a little bit, but we still didn't know what to expect yet since this was the first time. Welcome to a week in the life, and a day in the life, as a mom of 4 kids, without her husband. Cara was a champ! Gemma sure grew up a lot in the past week! She got a little more skilled with her makeup (actually still a mess on her face, but now she is using darker lipstick) and she has a new game where she loves to pretend she has $5 and wants you to ask her for it. It's quite possibly the cutest thing we have ever seen. Don't grow up GEMMA! Oh and she found a snake! (a slug) well a worm she says after a snake... but she named him Snake... and he lived... maybe :/ She also decides that our entire lawn is the Ocean and she is Moana. The triplets are as vocal as ever and keep Mama's hands full. But they are moving so much now and love to sing together as a Trio Choir (it gets loud). Gemma shows off some amazing Beeth Bows that were sent to her from an awesome Chatfam member, and also learns how cool garbage Trucks are!
Don't forget little Reese who now has learned how to give kisses back to Mama. And Royal's smile is to die for. Wren still has the cutest arm rolls you have ever seen. Being alone with 4 babies for an entire week was exhausting, and Cara couldn't wait for her husband Darik to return. However she did amazing! This is Part 1 of 2. Gosh I just put it all in perspective. My friend has a babysitting service in her house. She watches between four and five babies and has two other ladies to assist her! I’m sure it’s beyond difficult alone but even though Gemma is little, I bet it was wonderful to have her entertain the triplets and to have conversations with her! Love your fam!
