Every time Aaron makes a new video I skip to the end to see of Claire likes it, but here's the thing, she ALWAYS LIKES IT! Can I trust this guy? Ha ha ha! He's my go-to for Korean dishes and they're ALWAYS good! (Sometimes a bit spicy).
Say no more, I'm definitely making this the minute I clean out my entire fridge! Looks so amazing and delicious. I have gochujang leftover as well from other recipes so a new perfect way to use it!
I made it 🤤 It was warm & comforting, every ingredients was distinct, perfect meal to end our day on a rainy night. You have never failed in helping me impress my lovely hangry bird at home 🫡 Props to the both of you for showing us the ropes to become Korean home cooks 🥘
You just can't help but fall in love with Claire's "old man" noises. And watching that bowl of stew disappear means I'll have try this. Since Aaron's Yukgaejang is my favorite recipe, I have a feeling I'll really like this one. 👍👍 건배!! Edit - just made this stew and it is DELICIOUS!! Rice is a must with it as it is quite spicy, but with the rice it is perfect! Now if I only had some Soju.....
I always enjoy watching Claire's reactions to the food but this was my favorite of her. What a great reaction, had a huge smile on my face watching fun Claire. That remark about the stew being so good that you can't help making old man noises🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 🎊
Chef Aaron, one word “YUUUMMO”!!! I really don’t know how lovely Claire stays looking so slim & trim! Thank you so very much for the recipe. BTW do you have any merchandise that has your phrase “Don’t worry about it” on it? I’d love to get a tee shirt with those words on it! Thank you. Philip
I'm getting sleepy here and was really going to go to bed quickly. Now I watch the video and my mind won't let that Gochujang Jjigae go away. I'm going to go shopping as soon as I wake up and then I surely cook it. Drooling badly. 🤤
Love your channel Just stumbled upon it! My Korean go to is Chris Cho!! I live close to Philadelphia and go to the city often! Love Korean food. Was introduced to it by my son's best friend and his father! I believe it to be one of the best cuisines ! Thank you
I'm so happy! I found other recipes for this stew this winter and compiled bits and pieces from several different recipes to make something quick and easy that works great for my household. It came out to all the same steps and ingredients you use for yours, and you all were one of the first channels I got really into when learning Korean recipes.
I thought I was screwed when Aaron said "Fish sauce", but thanks he proposed Oyster Sauce as an alternative, I didn't have a stew since my last trip in Korea, I have to try this !!!!
I love this channel. I don't live in Korea so if I want Korean food I have to cook it myself or pay a lot for take out/delivery. I prefer to cook myself and you have helped me so much with cooking Korean food! Your videos are so easy to follow and I love that you are so funny and entertaining. Also Claire is the cutest and she is a lucky girl! Thank you so much for producing these videos! Sending love from the the US!
Claire was right! She was not exaggerating. I just copied this recipe last night and it was delicious. Be prepared to eat more than one serving of rice. Highly recommended.
Thank you so much for this wonderful recipe. I cooked it for my family this weekend, and they really loved it. And there was still enough left over to make my colleagues jealous at work the next day during our lunch-break... ;-) Greatings from Germany!
Made this tonight, it’s such a good recipe. Tried the broth and I was like ohhhh that’s a spicy sauce. Set out a bowl of rice and Made a fried egg…had the stew on the side and the spice was held at bay. Like Claire, I did need two bowls of rice 🤣🤣🤣🫢😉. No soju, would have been a good choice 🤭 So much leftover. Will have to reheat for lunch.
I love this recipe my Man. I am going to cook it tonight for my beautiful partner. I hope she loves it as much as you lovely lady does. Also it great to see your lady doing the washing up after her man cooks for her. You might need to do another video on that so my partner learns how to do the dishes. Peace from New Zealand
My favorite part is when he calls Claire to dinner. He sounds so handsome! I bought the cookbook to avoid writing all of the recipes but I still love the videos! Okay ❤
I'm somewhat surprised about Claire getting excited over potatoes, but I can definitely see why one would be excited for this stew. This has all the good things in korean food.
My girlfriend and I love your channel you guys are a perfect combination! So happy we have a Korean supermarket opened near us recently so we can get all the tasty ingredients 😄
The Doenjang Jjigae from your book I had last weekend was delicious and very simple. This looks equally good, just with the very different Gochujang chili taste. I definitely have to try it!
Good Stew. Claire always likes the recipe that is being made, but I love how authentically enthusiastic she got about this stew. I messed up the beef and it turned out tough, but the sauce is so good with the zucchini. P.S. We have your cookbook but it's your videos that always get us excited to try new dishes! Keep up the excellent work!
I've already veganized some of your former recipes that turned out delicious. This will be my next challenge. So far my korean mother in law liked my versions of your cooking, that must mean something 😅
Wait…WAIT!!! Why am I just realizing that you can use the starchy rice water to thicken stew?? Would adding some chicken bouillon to it be too much of a deviation?
@@AaronandClaire I made it and loved it! Will definitely be making this again! Thank you for your videos - you teach in a way that is not only fun, but you explain the process so well, that even people who are new to Korean cooking have the confidence they can do it, too!
Love this! I live in Sweden but make my own kimchi and add goshujang to as many dishes as I can (so I guess I'm part Korean at least when it comes to the food). We love warm stews here in northern europe, specially during the cold winter, so I'm actually going to prepare this dish tomorrow for dinner 😊
It’s not super spicy, so I think you can still give this a try. 😊 If you’re too worried, I suggest reducing gochugaru (Korean chili pepper flakes) or skip the fresh chilies. Or you can freeze the leftover for your next meals.
@@AaronandClaire thank you! I actually went and bought tofu today, so I think I will do just what you said. I will freeze what is left and save it for later!
I just tried to make this with some modifications such as no beef, local beef stock powder, cucumber instead of zucchini. Ended up with the flavor taste like Shin Ramyun 😂
Oh goodness, I think I drooled on my keyboard.. How big is your pot that you cooked it in? I'm not sure if I have one that big, so I might need to adjust the recipe 😅
I see stew. I click. I love this 🤤.
Can't run away from it 🤣
Claire's happy sounds make me giggle. I can't blame her for making happy sounds, though. This stew looks delicious.
we've had about 40 cm of snow in the last 48 hours. This sounds just perfect!
Sounds like this gochujang stew will be the perfect option for you 😍 Take care!
Your notifications pop up and my mouth starts to water, even before I know what you're making. I love Fridays!
Thank you for saying that!! Happy Friday~! 😍
Top notch comment.

Finally had a chance to make this and omg! It was so good. Thank you so much for sharing. ❤@AaronandClaire

Can’t wait until I move out when I’m done with school and have my own kitchen😭 this channel is basically my list for recipes I want to try out
Seeing Claire sooo happy is better than 1000 words said ❤😂 WELL DONE AARON, you made it
Making this tomorrow ❤ wanted to make Gulasch but gonna make this instead, I love anything beef and potatoe.
Made this tonight and was super good, I just didn't have Korean chilli flakes or shittake mushrooms, and I added a fried egg :)

Just made this because I needed to use up the last of my gochujang before I move to a new place. 10/10, will definitely add it into the rotation.
My favorite part is when he calls Claire to dinner. He sounds so handsome! I bought the cookbook to avoid writing all of the recipes but I still love the videos! Okay ❤
Man I want someone to praise my cooking like Claire praises Aaron's
I'm convinced. I'm going to make this. I have a ton of Gochujang that needs to be used before it goes bad. ;) Gotta use it all!
Sounds like a perfect plan! Hope you enjoy it! 😁👍
You had me at Gochujang.❤🌶😋
Yay!!! 😎❤️

That’s right! It’s very similar to Doenjang Jjigae and equally delicious! Hope you enjoy this one too! 😍
@@AaronandClaireI made it this Easter Sunday! Very spicy and the different vegetables work great together.
I made this & it was too much so I froze some. The taste of the tofu after I defrosted it was AMAZING. Definitely making it again
Old man claire is the best claire!
Gochujang is my go to, but since I'm not a beef eater, I'll make a no beef version of Gochujang stew! :)
Looks hearty and so delicious
Good Stew. Claire always likes the recipe that is being made, but I love how authentically enthusiastic she got about this stew.

Your instant ramen recipes are so awesome in flavor, that my entire family loves them! Definitely going to try out this beef stew!
TRUST ME! 200×Better! I PROMISE!
I love it! That's how its done!
The meat with the sauce looked good. I could eat that with rice and an egg. The stew looks yummy.
Yassss im making this next weekend. Ive been making korean food for gor about a year now. My family loves it. We are definitely mych healthier ❤️🩹
Gochujang makes everything taste better
I am Pakistani live in incheon I tried many dishes after watching ur videos
Lovely looking recipe. First time I tried Gochujang it immediately became a staple in my kitchen, love it.
Oh my Gosh, I could almost smell it.
Most definitely gonna try getting the ingredients here in the Netherlands to make this.
I'm making this today. 😋😋
I've already veganized some of your former recipes that turned out delicious. This will be my next challenge. So far my korean mother in law liked my versions of your cooking, that must mean something 😅
Our super hero, gochujang, will take care of everything, so don’t worry about it! 😁👍
Awesome!!!
I'm currently eating and this is making me hungry. I need to make this ASAP!
고기를 고추장과 함께 볶으면서 고추기름 내는거 너무 좋네요 다들 알아야해!! 고추장찌개는 해외에서도 만들기 편해서 좋아요 ㅎㅎ
This stew came out great. Thank you for the recipe! ❤
I need to make this quick before the end of winter, looks delicious!
I'm going to make this 😊
Yay! Hope you enjoy it! ❤️
I'm not sure but I think Claire liked it.
I will make this, I can get Gojuchang at the Asian shop in my town in England.
yum! I just got some Gochujang, def gonna make this =)
Wait…WAIT!!! Why am I just realizing that you can use the starchy rice water to thicken stew?? Would adding some chicken bouillon to it be too much of a deviation?
Absolutely going to be making this. Thank you both!
One word, dee licious
The finished product looks so amazing I’m drooling. Adding the ingredients to my shopping list now! ✍️

interesting idea to keep the rice water - don't we normally discard it because we tried to wash the rice to expell chemicals etc ?
Aaron! how about something sweet or dessert? ❤ please 🙏

Made this tonight... Omg ... So good!
Don't worry about it!
lots of green onions too
I tried this one today. Delicious!
Aaron can you make a video about spicy bburinkle chicken??
"don' worry 'bout it - everything will be fanTAStic.."😂Alright lol like 'Tokyo Drift' ☺💯
고마워요 오늘 저녁은이겁니다
맛있게 드시길 바래요~~ 😍
This recipe looks awesome. Can't wait to try it. Question... what size cast iron pot was that you used?
I just made this. It's indeed fantastic!
I wish my husband loved spicy! I miss this kind of food so much!
It’s not super spicy, so I think you can still give this a try. 😊
If you’re too worried, I suggest reducing gochugaru (Korean chili pepper flakes) or skip the fresh chilies. Or you can freeze the leftover for your next meals.

Great stuff...and great entertainment...so good
Shame on the little restaurant in my local, tiny Korean market on Gratiot Avenue for not having this on their menu...
Ooooooh I think I'll have to give this a try......I gotta work some sweet potatoes and carrots in there too.......mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
I just tried to make this with some modifications such as no beef, local beef stock powder, cucumber instead of zucchini. Ended up with the flavor taste like Shin Ramyun 😂
This looks perfect!! Is there a way to make it vegetarian? I have a friend who would love the flavor profile but they dont eat meat.
I imagine Claire saying I'm Hungry 😂 👍
Claire is so cute
Hi! Do you think instead of zucchini I could try watercress?
I really want to try it. I love zucchini but I also wanted to try it with watercress haha
Looks delicious! (An alternative to galbijjim.) Can't wait to try this recipe!😊
your green onions are the size of 2-3 each US green onion.
I always think that!
I guess I know what I make next week
Claire increasing her volume with every bite is tremendous 😂 she is a true foodie !
Not having rice with a Korean stew is like having peanut butter and jelly but no bread 😅
Oh goodness, I think I drooled on my keyboard.. How big is your pot that you cooked it in? I'm not sure if I have one that big, so I might need to adjust the recipe 😅
Anyway to make it lower calorie?
I made it so good
