The reading of a contemporary book, rather than a historic or science fiction novel allows the viewer to absorb the type of language they will actually use, rather than learning obsolete or fictional language such as is found in HG Wells novels or the Harry Potter books for example. Also, as you use very well written subtitles in Spanish, rather than the awful RUclips generated CC, it allows the viewer to match the spoken word to the written. This helps immensely with pronunciation, the understanding of the accents, intonation, syntax and also allows the viewer to instantly practice the language as they view - getting instant feedback. Overall, this method is by far the easiest and fastest way to start learning the usage of a language. It instantly highlights just how many words and terms the viewer already recognises and places them in context - it doesn't matter whether the viewer understands the sentence or not, the familiarity is far more valuable. Each time the viewer learns a new word during their normal learning, the audiobook becomes more and more clear until one day you understand the full book. Please make more videos like this.
