I had picked a few today, so I made me a pan of biscuits and tomato gravy. Which had me a good old fried rabbit...

58:00 - One way to find the hornworms is to get a handheld blacklight. They fluoresce like neon and very easy to pick at night.

I transplanted my tomatoes is my grow bags and the next day they were all limp. I gave them a good drink when i transplanted them. I have 40%shade cloth over the top

Was the soil moist before you filled the grow bags? Tomatoes will come back unless they are over fertilized.

All my tomatoes get is calcium nitrate when I plant them and later when they get two feet high.

Re: tomato powder… I’ve heard of doing that with the pulp and seeds left from processing tomatoes in a food mill. Then there’s no waste. I’m guessing that would work well too.
I’m guessing you had Russian tarragon, which is hardy but doesn’t taste like very much. True culinary French tarragon is not winter hardy and does not grow anywhere near as aggressively. It’s also sterile so you have to buy a plant, and it can be tricky to find! I got my hands on one 👍

Hello. My tomatoe plants were growing well, then after lots of rain stopped growing. I had grass clippings on them. Some plants have leaf branches turning yellow. It is now been hot iwith little rain n VA and my soil temp is showing moist. Not sure what is wrong. Thank you

It could be too much water. Leaves can turn yellow when the soil is saturated.

I thought I had it bad in Western NY in zone 5b. I moved from zone 7. I might have a ripe tomato by the 4th of July.
