The peppermint oil she used was a blend in a carrier oil because if you put pure peppermint essential oil on your skin/scalp can cause redness, chemical burns, headaches, swelling and blisters & more

I'm white (white-carmel). My great Gramma was black dutch. My hair is mixed and below my waist. Use a boars hair brush (follow instructions), don't put soap in your hair more than once a week, dry with a XL t-shirt, cover to sleep, wash and rinse in cold water (as cold as you can stand it bcz cold seals in moisture), eat foods that have healthy fats because the health of your hair has everything to do with your diet and the natural oils in your hair! (Avocados, walnuts, it's a huge list). Lanolin oil would be the best because "Lanolin" is literally the oil that Sheep produce on their skin in order to make their coats lush and thick! The majority of the textiles around the world are made of sheep coats! Lanolin! Lanolin is also the oil that nursing mothers use to keep their skin soft for breastfeeding which means it's harmless to babies which means it's harmless to your scalp. I'm not saying to eat lanolin oil I'm simply saying that it's harmless to use on your scalp. The boars hair brush and 40 strokes per night will do wonders! Re-wet for styling in the morning. Rinse with cold water! Dry with cool air and a diffuser!

So true about diet playing a part in your hair health. Ever since I've been trying to lose weight with exercise and healthy eating, I also notice a difference in my skin and hair. My hair isnt as dry and I have had a problem with dry scalp for as long as I can remember but no more dry scalp at all anymore. And I have not changed my facial products or hair products so it has to be from a healthier lifestyle is what I am thinking.

Her hair was mixed. I got her hair! If I have my hair tied up for a week and then take it down it will stick out sideways because its course and thick. One strand of my hair feels like a guitar string. (Not quite but you get picture) I am 53 and have hair below my waist and it's very big and thick and curly. I get compliments on my hair all the time from men and women. A lot of what I know now is just trial and error over the years. The boar's hair brush distributes the natural oils which helps your hair to stay healthy which also helps it to grow faster. A tiny trim of the edges is a good idea but anyone that tells you you have to get it cut otherwise it won't grow I'm going to tell you they are not telling the truth because I haven't had a haircut in 5 years and my hair has grown six or seven inches.

@@Sister_Sandy I never said hair tutorials were for a certain type of hair. The video implied her technique was for all hair types, and clearly it is not. You should stay in your own lane because you have no clue what the conversation entailed. Who cares what you hair type is and how you don’t have a clue on how to avoid damaging it. The message of the video was “I did this to MY hair and it will work for YOURS, too.” THAT was the message. A person with fine loosely curly hair will generally have longer hair as hers is. The video only applies if you have the same hair type as the original poster. It is not a one size fits all. If you don’t pay attention to facts, then just be quiet.
