    So many things i searched for that i couldnt find. Searched to add clothes, found this video, this answered questions i dont have to search for anymore. Its more indepth, no shortcuts, which always cause problems. Ive learnd what i have been doing wrong, instead of making s mistake and getting it right. Thanks.

    What a great tutorial! You covered every step, every click! So helpful!
    Now I just need to figure out how to make soft body clothing, like a long jacket or dress

      sorry if I'm late to the party here! But one way you could do this is in marvelous designer, it's a program specifically made for doing clothes for games. Blender also has something similar but it's not as powerful

    Most underrated channel. Well explained. I subscribed and will be watching all your videos.
    I would really really appreciate if if you were to make UE5 optimization video with tips and tricks such as use this instead of that kinda stuff or how to earn more FPS without lowering the quality of the game.
    All the best and good luck!

    Good afternoon, I ran into such a problem unreal engine 5 was making my own clothes for the character, I'm trying to hang it on the character, everything seemed to be imported and connected normally. yes, when the character stands in clothes and the IDLE animation is played, everything is cool, but as soon as the character starts running or jumping, the clothes start to sag and fly off in the area of the elbows (sometimes they start to flicker and rattle as if it were a glitch in the video card), when the character stops, the clothes return to their place. I've already broken my head - I can't find a solution, I've tried different settings, I've tried connecting different skeletons to clothes - nothing really changes. For some reason, there is no such problem with Shoes. Everything was imported and attached immediately.

    I was following the video, and everything worked perfect until I get to minute 12.00. I've restareted Unreal, and the Metahuman moves the legs when walking, but has no feets and his boots will stay on the ground while he's moving. Any ideas on how to fix this?

    Does anyone know what to do if the Metahuman's legs go through the pants model? I can see the thighs from the outside, and I don't know if I should fix in Blender, in Unreal, or if this could not be fixed at all

    can you tell me if it works for Hat as well ( transfer from head to hat ''vertex data'') ?
    I could not transfer the data so i parented to the bones deleting the other meshs on blender and export it like you teached. worked very nice! thank you

    • @NoWhereSharp

      Thank you! For hats, maybe you just need to add a socket to the metahuman skeleton and then add the hat to the socket, I think this will work

    • @NoWhereSharp
      @NoWhereSharp  20 часов назад

      If you are having problems with some clothes, after transferring the weights, you probably need to adjust the weights yourself. Blender has a weight painting tool. The process shown in the video is automatic, so it can have some problems that you need to fix

    tnx mate and is it possible to use the meta-human rig instead of the mannequin rig?

    • @NoWhereSharp
      @NoWhereSharp  3 месяца назад

      Yeah, you should be able to do this, just export the metahuman mesh as it is, without assigning the mannequin rig, and of course, when importing the cloth in unreal, be sure to select the metahuman skeleton and not the mannequin one!

    Hi :)
    I always have the problem that, after I added all the meta human parts to the blueprint, the head and legs stay in the default position, are not animated, and not snapped to the third-person mesh like the other body parts. I'm using a short female character. Are you familiar with this problem and know how to fix this by any chance? Thank you for your time!

    • @NoWhereSharp
      @NoWhereSharp  4 месяца назад

      I'm not sure, are you using the live retargeter? Because with the method that I showed in the video I don't use the third person mesh, maybe you should try to replace with the method in this video, this may fix you're problem!

    • @Serafinelly
      @Serafinelly 4 месяца назад

      @@NoWhereSharp I followed your video, but the metahuman is not snapping to the correct positions like it does in your case.
      However, I think this is a problem of the short version of the metahuman. I now got one with average height and without clothes. We will see how that goes.
