Powerful and anthemic track with a dark 80s style. Lyrically it is inspired by the 1824 novel “The Private Memoirs and Confessions of a Justified Sinner”, by the Scottish writer James Hogg, considered the precursor of Stevenson’s novel “The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde”. Here the protagonist, convinced of being chosen by God and under the influence of his diabolical doppelganger, commits all sorts of excesses and crimes against sinners, thinking he is justified.

Liricamente è ispirato al romanzo del 1824 “The Private Memoirs and Confessions of a Justified Sinner”, dello scrittore scozzese James Hogg, considerato il precursore del romanzo di Stevenson “Lo strano caso del Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde”. Qui il protagonista, convinto di essere un eletto da Dio e sotto l’influenza del suo diabolico doppelganger, compie ogni sorta di eccesso e delitto nei confronti dei peccatori, pensando di esserne giustificato.
