I hope Jason Lee understands that his voice work as syndrome is some of the best voice acting I've ever heard and he's literally my favorite villain because of it Jason Lee's the goat
His performance in Mallrats, Chasing Amy, and Dogma had such a profound effect on me as a kid in the 90’s. Super underrated actor…even rips at skating also. Dude is a G
Jason Lee is the only “celebrity” that will fuck me up when he dies. He was my first favorite pro, first pro shoes I ever got, first guy to use skateboarding as a launching pad and just all around creative guy that tread his own but very successful path. Nothing but love for Jason.❤️
Syndrome is hands down one of the best voice over performances EVER! So iconic. His performance is one of the reason why part 1 is better than 2 by a little.
My Name is Earl is one of, if not my absolute, favorite shows EVER! I live in a small mid-America community and I can relate to every one of the characters on that show. Jason Lee is one of the most underrated actors in film! Thank you for all of your work Jason!
He’s the reasons that I grew up watching the Incredibles so many times when I was kid and when I think of Jason Lee as Syndrome he gave the best villain performance in a Pixar movie in the history of animation. Now I’m watching him in MallRats as a adult
Brad bird is an amazing director and its awesome to see him giving these animated masterpieces like ratatouille and the iron giant a thumbs up putting them against traditional movies
Almost Famous is my favourite movie ever, every time I've watched it it has been a significant time on my life, watching it with others. Once while on MDMA with a girl, once on the beach on a giant screen during a fantastic holiday.. so many memories :)
I never though thought i would find so much satisfaction from listening to jason lee talk about dogma, my name is earl, incredibles and almost famous. I love those projects. I love his performance in those projects, but it never crossed my mind how much i would enjoy hearing him talk about it. Please tell me there is a segment about memphis beat. I love that cop show. Jason lee and jayjay quails knock it out of the park
Jason Lee is the best villain performance in a Pixar movie in the Incredibles as Syndrome. He gave the best performance in the history of animation. But now I’m watching him in Mall rats.
This truly is the best. Jason Lee is just the coolest, and such a genuine fan of just life and creatives. So happy for his stamp on skateboarding and the way it led to success outside of it.
Being approached to voice Syndrome makes absolute sense given that one of Buddy's misnomers given by Bob was "Brodie" I get the impression Brad Bird loves Kevin Smith movies and when watching Dogma was like "THAT'S our villain!" (Especially the deleted scene about how Evil is an abstract)
Jason Lee has always been hilarious and awesome. Mallrats was our movie when me and my friends were kids. I'm glad he distanced himself from Scientology years back. He's too cool a guy to be associated with those losers.
Never knew Jason Lee was so GOATed, although I'm not from America and haven't had much exposure to him. Only seen him in My Name Is Earl and didn't even know he voiced Syndrome. Cool.
I absolutely love how passionate he is about what he does. Thank you for being so positive about the art of acting. It makes me want to continue to do what I do.
Believe me or not... Sybdrome was one of my favorite Childhood Characters. I even had a Selfmade Syndrome Costume in Elementary School. Thanks Jason for this awesome performance! Would love to see more of Jason Lee as Syndrome! #SyndromeIsAlive XD
What a friggin’ cool down to earth Amigo. He’s just one of the guys telling them how all these big budget productions work with voice overs and whatnot!
The man is praising Up and Ratatouille, which yeah good movies, but so modest to not blatantly admit he was in what many regard as the best Pixar movie of all time. Love Jason Lee
Jason Lee is a GOAT!!!! Mall Rats and Almost famous are among my tops as a degent. Cult or not, I've watched these movies numerous times and would never turn down the chance to see them again. Nothing but love for Jason Lee. The P stash looks good on Jason, Earl or not.
Jason Lee's voice is so unique, I don't know how any adult wouldn't immediately recognize him in "The Incredibles". It like not recognizing Patrick Warburton or H. Jon Benjamin.
Reflecting, Jason Lee's voice, skills, passion for V.O. and more would make him an EXCELLENT candidate for a character in "Diamond Dragons". :) As 'Mestrius', most likely. 🐲✨🐲✨🐲✨
On dubbing movies for TV (i.e. getting rid of the dirty words) I remember one really bad overdub with the movie "Fatso" with Dom Deloise, where a female character was yelling "You son of a bitch!", and the TV network had it overdubbed as "You dirty rat!" What was funny is that the movie aired on the American network first "Edited for Television", and I rewatched it the next night on a Canadian network where they didn't edit a single swear word.
I remember walking in one day, and my kids were watching "We Bare Bears". I heard this voice out of the....corner of my ears?...and I'm like "HEY!...That's Jason f'kn Lee!!!"
My Name is Earl was so chill. It made playing it under the wire the point of its incredible conceit. That I actually believe, the suits misunderstood how good it was and why it was cancelled. Just ahead of it's 'self'.
I gotta be honest, I don't think I've ever watched/ listened to a podcast that felt this natural and real. Its far from my favorite, but the relaxed and fly-on-the-wall mood here is beyond unique.
One of the funniest television dubs was Jason Mewes in the original television dub of MALLRATS. Whoever they got to dub him sounded like a 50 year old man so the edits sounded insanely obvious.
Man I know this is so random but my mom recently found out about my weed channel where i smoke weed for a living & now i be thinking about quitting or deleting my stuff …
I hope Jason Lee understands that his voice work as syndrome is some of the best voice acting I've ever heard and he's literally my favorite villain because of it Jason Lee's the goat
“AND GOT BUSSSSAAAAY” is one of the funniest line deliveries ever.
“You sly dog! You caught me monologuing!”
The incredibles is my favorite superhero movie
Sho
100% agree.
He brought up The Iron Giant and got nothing from the crew, but that is easily one of, if not, the best animated movies ever made. So good.
His performance in Mallrats, Chasing Amy, and Dogma had such a profound effect on me as a kid in the 90’s. Super underrated actor…even rips at skating also. Dude is a G

Don't forget about Underdog.
I fucking love me some Jason Lee. Dude's been a beast his whole life.
One of the most underrated actors. Brilliant in every role.

only a little!?
@@sebz8362 just being respectful. The second one is good just not really as good
@@CinemaGulp you don't need to be respectful. everyone agrees the first one is way better than the second one.

@frankbarrera2000yeah because he died

I know... everytime I watch this show...reminds me of my brother in law and his brothers... from the trailer park to the sleazy motel.
Almost Famous is one of my all time favorite movies.
Syndrome’s cape gets stuck into the jet’s turbine
Syndrome: “ALVIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN”
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Don't forget about Underdog.
Jason Lee and Bruce Campbell need to do a movie together.
God damn now there’s a combination!
Throw in Ryan Reynolds for good measure.
@@Wubsy96 nah Ryan Reynolds isn't nearly funny enough
You sly dog! You got me groovy!
Bruce Campbell is awesome. Loved him in Brisco County Jr. Think it only ran one season
Almost famous is one of my all time favourites.
If you haven't seen The Iron Giant you gotta. Not only one of the best animated films of all time but films in general.
Biiiit of a stretch. That's nostalgia talkin
@@TheTuttle99 it's really good but it's not for everyone
Cold war set Frankenstein disguised as a kids movie
It is really good..for a children's animated movie. Hey man I like it too. But one of the best films of all time it is not
Eh 🤷♀️
He’s very cool and down to earth. Love all his work - especially the Kevin Smith films. Thank goodness he bailed on the Scientology BS.
Tom needs to take notes.

Sorry dude But Incredibles and Mall rats is way better
Earl still holds up. I just watched the entire series, again.
Brad bird is an amazing director and its awesome to see him giving these animated masterpieces like ratatouille and the iron giant a thumbs up putting them against traditional movies
A legend who is so positive and humble.
Almost Famous is my favourite movie ever, every time I've watched it it has been a significant time on my life, watching it with others. Once while on MDMA with a girl, once on the beach on a giant screen during a fantastic holiday.. so many memories :)
I heard him in underdog on Disney plus. And If you ask me, there would never be any Syndrome without Jason Lee.
The Incredibles r 🐐’d. One of the best animated films/films in general imo. 💯
Fyi goat is not "one of the best"; it's THE best
The Incredibles was my childhood I had no clue he voiced Syndrone!
Damn Jason Lee is so informed about the process that goes into Animation. Huge respect
GREAT JOB in Almost Famous
Almost Famous is probably one of my favorite movies ever! I just loaned it out to of my customers.

You would probably like thr show raising hope as well. Kind of a spin off kind of
One of my favorite movies ever - Almost famous is brilliant, heartbreaking and wonderful.
I absolutely love how passionate he is about what he does. Thank you for being so positive about the art of acting. It makes me want to continue to do what I do.
So glad he shows the appreciation for the animators and their processes along with how good the movie “UP” is
What makes this even better is he actually returned to do new voice work for syndrome in the Lego Incredibles game
Jason Lee is a great guest. So enthusiastic. Tells good stories.
He was great in small but key roles in Enemy of the state and Vanilla Sky
Almost Famous is top 5 movie every made for me.
"like you saying you like fever dog...THAT is the f*ckin' buzz, man" *feel flows*
Iron giant is 🔥🔥
Sooo beautiful!!
Them not knowing that cult classic was kind of depressing

The man is praising Up and Ratatouille, which yeah good movies, but so modest to not blatantly admit he was in what many regard as the best Pixar movie of all time. Love Jason Lee
The fact that I can see Syndrome crying at Up, and then killing heroes 10 minutes later is hysterical.
He was in monster house too! He played bones! 🦴
Am I going crazy here or is Jason Lee like a 10 year older Ryan Reynolds?
Always thought that my brotha.
Yes
Hurts my heart than Jason Lee and Ryan Reynolds haven’t played brothers in a project. Their on-camera snarky attitudes are identical 90’s gold.
Jason lee is amazing and stereo was the first skate company I loved
Jason Lee is a GOAT!!!! Mall Rats and Almost famous are among my tops as a degent. Cult or not, I've watched these movies numerous times and would never turn down the chance to see them again. Nothing but love for Jason Lee. The P stash looks good on Jason, Earl or not.
I never linked the two ! Amazing voicework on the incredibles
Dogma is great. so is the other work he's done
I was just now old when i found out Jason Lee voiced Syndrome 🤯
Watching movies like The Incredibles and Madagascar inspired me to star in animated movies because having Cerebral Palsy is completely irrelevant.
He was a supervillain and a superhero
Jason Lee's voice is so unique, I don't know how any adult wouldn't immediately recognize him in "The Incredibles". It like not recognizing Patrick Warburton or H. Jon Benjamin.

My favourite Pixar villain, and even if you disagree, you still gotta admit he’s amongst the top 3
It’s funny Jason Lee was supposed to play Fletch in the remake, and he looks just like Chevy Chase here.
Amazing actor, bet he's just as cool in person.

Grown men opening up about the joy they find in Pixar movies. Makes me so happy.
Jason Lee was also the voice of Underdog in the 2007 live action Disney film of the same name.
Love him as Charlie in We Bare Bears! 🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️
Love the band Still Water
Awesome performance as "Syndrome"!
Thought that was always Ryan Reynolds lol
They kinda have a similar voice now that u mention it
i love his respect for up.
jason lee you are class man
If you haven’t watched Almost Famous or Iron Giant, you are missing out on some great films lol
Every single time someone chugs pellegrino straight from the bottle I feel slighty violated.
Appreciate the Kevin Smith shout out
My name is Earl has its place in my mind as one the last great late night family shows.
Jason lee as arthur the narrator the son of king fergus from brave in Abc's Juan's Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique's Return.
That kid is back on the escalator again!
Almost famous great movie love that one
Man I didn’t know Jason voiced Syndrome
Only legends know him as Dave 😏
Ive never seen or hers of san pellagrino water but i now want it
It’s just regular fizzy water but it’s pretty decent- used to sell it pretty overpriced at a pizza place I used to work
The flavored ones are dank
Sindrome deserves a return on an incredebles movie or serie with Jason's voice (It works)
*The plane is about crash*

I don’t care who you are you know Jason Lee is the man skating wise and acting

Iron Giant what a movie haven't seen that since I was a child lol
Jason Lee is awesome!
Never realized Dave Seville from Alvin and the Chipmunks voiced Syndrome from The Incredibles
I just literally finished one…and he ain’t lyin,…
Met him at slamcity jam, super chill / nice guy.
I think he announced he left in 2016 or so
