I am also a new salon and beauty clinic owner. Aik toh us ko complete hone mein hi 1 year lgya pura. The next whole year went by putting in stock, renovations and staffing. I'm in the same situation. Even tho my education in in business I don't have practical knowledge. Also I moved back to pak to start my business so everything was new for me. But after 2 years I'm finally going to launch my store in November 2022 it's a home decor retail store. Here is what I learned first thing is get a job in the field you wanna get into or get some kind of market exposure for a small amount of time. Don't feel like the job is beneath you. I worked in dominos for 8 months as a pizza maker as my main plan was to get into food. And everyone was so shocked to know I could speak English and they found out I was born abroad and graduated from UK but still I worked there like any other employ and learned so much. So yeah job will teach you a lot 2nd is start small even if you have the investment pls don't go all in that will be a mistake when I launched my food business I did a lean MVP and tested my business model which failed but even tho I was depressed about It I dint give up and long story short I found my interior design retail store. I ran a pilot project with investment of 1 million and the result was very decent but I'm gonna do the grand launch so let's see how it goes. Also bonus TIP DONT RUSH THE PROCESS LET IT UNFOLD ORGANICALLY Anyways this was my journey from 0 experience to finally opening a serious business.
You should hire a trustworthy person to take care of some of the stuff of salon. I'm a surgeon with 2 boys & i can relate to that, sometimes you need help n cannot handle everything. Hire someone for managing social media handles, for capturing you/vlogging. U can post regularly this way.
