Let me know what you think! Love ya💖
I managed to lose my reply in less than ten seconds... Let's try again. I really love that box, so much better than the other two. The pumpkin dish would be great for pies but also casseroles or even dressing. It's a great box for fall lovers like you (and me, too!). More is these please.
all the stuff in these home decor boxes is so much not my style, but i do get a lot of entertainment out of rating these items on how well they'd work as murder weapons and this box has by far the most potential.
That pumpkin pie dish is adorable. If they made a kitchen-specific homeware subscription box--like canisters, cookware, decorative spoons, seasonal tea towels--I would be all about that.
Apparently we all need to make a trip to Alexandria's HomeGoods because those items would be WAY more at mine. That little fire pit would be at least $50 😳
I'm a Chef/Caterer, a gel can is a can of Styrno which I purchase at Sams Club or Cosco and they come in a box of 12... You can use them to heat or keep food warm. You can blow them out like a candle and re use them too.
I have to say I really liked this box, it all looks so cozy, it makes you want to snug under a blanket, get some warm chocolate milk with a big puff of whipped cream, and a nice movie to watch..... Yeah I really liked this one
TIL the word "trivet". Funny because I own and use several and just called them "the thing in the cupboard - keeps your pots from messing up the counter".
That pumpkin casserole at my T.J. Mac would be at least $35. I know because I keep wanting a similar one but can’t justify it to myself 😥Excellent item!
@@karengalvan4890 oooh I was just at Target over the weekend. I didn't see that. I love to bake. I SO would have bought it had I seen it. I'm sad now... ☹ That's a great price, btw... 👍🏻
For the trivet you can hang it on the wall, stand it up on a table/bookshelf, put a floor floral arrangement on it, or add a clear dish/plate/platter on top of the trivet & use as a catch-all.
You can find gel candles in the camping section in Walmart! I got some a few weeks ago and they were only around $10 for a pack of 2 and they’re super easy to use!
LOVE this box! I've really enjoyed your non make up boxes, and it seems like you are too, which makes it even more enjoyable for the viewer. I got a good chuckle out of you rambling off Kentucky/TN towns where you think that 3 tier tray would work lol.
The pumpkin dish around the Cleveland area at a Homegoods or Tuesday Morning would be in the $49.99 range. I'm not sure it is meant to cook in though, I'd bake in a pie plate then set it in there after... but I would have grabbed it up too.
I think maybe it's a copy of the expensive ones that companies like Le Creuset etc make (the heavy cast iron cooking/baking dishes). I've seen the original ones for around $150+ or something. This one obviously isn't the expensive kind, as my cast iron ones are so heavy I can hardly lift them 😆. I wanted the original pumpkin dish, as I saw it online and nearly died at the price! Lol. I agree on your price though, as these things aren't cheap! I'd use that one as a serving dish, not for cooking. It's so cute!
I agree with everything you said. I absolutely love the pumpkin pie dish. My mom just recently passed down to me hers. We have eaten all kinds of things in it. Mine is an orange pumpkin, I wish mine was white like yours. When not in use it's just great fall decor . I'm 50 something so I also love the trivet, when not in use it would hang on the wall for fall decor in the kitchen. Your idea for the wood tierd tray is brilliant for your store. I'm sure your candles will be charming on it! My birthday is today, so lucky to celebrate in my favorite season. I usually choose pumpkin pie instead of cake!
They would specifically have to be food safe but she said that her hands are hurting after "popping" some of the bubbly things and she has fibers all over her that are making her itch, which is likely fiberglass. I wouldn't say that eating off of or especially getting bits of fiberglass in you is safe for ingestion. Very cute yes but unfortunately could possibly land someone in the hospital
Wow you've been posting a lot of videos lately love it your videos really brighten up my day it's actually the highlight of my day keep on coming Alexandria
On the platter candle holder, I think you could put tall candles in the outside row, a medium height in the inner row, and some shorter pillars in the flat space. You could also stack mini pumpkins or gourds on the flat space as well. 😊 That's a great box! Really pretty things! ❤️ Love all the videos!
That pie plate looks expensive! Its beautiful and I can't imagine it going for less than 50$. That trivet, and candle holder (that I love!) man, this was a good box imo! Better than the other decocrate or whatever the cheaper one was. Both are fun to watch though. Thank you, Alexandria! Contemplating grabbing this one 🤔
The candle holder for 7 candles. On the other side from the candle part put a blob of clay and insert some pine and various Christmassy things into it, for a Christmas decoration. Or use that foam you make wet to stick things in instead for it to not dry out so fast. Moss works pretty good too to cover all the clay/oasis.
Watching your unboxing made me feel confident that I would enjoy getting a mystery box. My grandma gave me money for my birthday one year and I decided that I would order a sweet reads subscription box. I would often read with her and thought this would be the perfect gift from her. It is so wonderful being surprised each month, even if everything isnt exactly my tastes. Thank you for your positivity, your videos always bring a smile to my face.
Okay, I actually love this box and I seriously want it now. I love almost all the pieces (the cushion cover though…). Your price range feels a little low, though. But that could be just because I live on the west coast and everything is super expensive here. Love your channel, love your energy; can’t wait to see what more you bring in!
I would love to see a little picture inserted of what the items look like assembled or styled. Maybe pics from the Steal It website? Especially that wooden tiered tray and the taper candle holder tray thingy.
candle holder is cool actually, i will make it for christmas pretty nice. Can imagine put orange and gold candles in for now and some pumpkin on it and leafs and maybe some rowan branches . Girl is awesome
I actually have this decor seals box and love it! I like that it isn’t a subscription. You can choose if you want to order each season or not. You can also see the items prior to ordering if you like. The company offered a coupon for a food safe gel to roast your marshmallows with. There is a difference between the food safe and the regular ones that you find in most stores.
Girllll you’re putting in work! ❤️❤️ ALSO been loving your merch! As soon as I saw the mug I knewww a purchase had to be made haha got the hat and pin too☺️
I would love for you to keep doing this box since I don't get any subscription boxes because we're downsizing into an RV, so it's great to get my excitement/subscription box fix via you! It saves me money haha
I saw someone open this same box on another channel. She almost missed it (as you apparently did!) but there is a pillow insert in the bottom of the box. It's one of those that is shrink wrapped and when you open it, it inflates and fits inside the pillow case.
There are electric indoor S'mores makers. You toast the marshmallows indoors. They're awesome and usually under $40. I have the Nostalgia one, which I got on Amazon, but I just saw the Shaper Image one at Marshalls last weekend for $29.99.
things she LOVES: fall, penguin knife, comparing items to prices at home goods, christmas, sleeping, pumpkin pie, wood things she HATES: sound that styrofoam makes and ice rubbing together
I have a cute owl trivet that I hang on my wall when not using it. You could also lean it against something in a fall display. Yours is really cute and I'm a little jealous!
This was a fun box. It had a lot of fun holiday stuff. Too expensive, but cute. You could also put yams or mashed potatoes in the “pie” dish to serve in
For the mini fire pit you want a gel cooking fuel canister like Terraflame. Unsure if that minipit is rated for Sterno, but that's another fuel canister. The rocks are for evenly distributing heat. If you do use it inside, make sure you get a large paving stone to set it on to protect surfaces from any ambient heat, as well as a quilted pad to put under the paver to protect your tabletop/buffet top. If the rocks get too dirty, get a bag of lava rocks from the hardware store(typically found as mulch) or smaller amounts on Amazon, and the old ones can be washed in hot soapy water, or used as mulch around garden plants.
I think this is the first home decor box that I thought most of the stuff was pretty nice and useful, but pretty pricey. I love your Home Goods price comparisons.
Packing tape really helps to get fiberglass off, if that's useful advice to you. 😄😄❤️❤️ I really love the little pumpkin pan, and the cast iron pumpkin Those are super cute.
I use cardboard in my crafts! For my patterns and if I want to sketch something out and need a good not to flexible base! And I use the patterns over and over (sometimes I even use Taco Bell boxes!! hahahaha)
I love you saying how much you think you’d find them for at Home Goods! Even though I don’t know of they’re a good value but they’re fun to watch you unbox them.
This box is awesome! I'm highly considering purchasing it. Everything would work perfectly for my house, and I love the Thanksgiving idea! ❤ thank you so much for opening this box
I love the coziness of Gatlinburg. Looking forward to going in December ♡ I grew up going every Fall. I think that's one reason Fall is my favorite time of the year. 🍃🍂🍁
That tiered tray looks awesome! I know it’s not everyone’s style, but I just mean in terms of quality. You don’t normally see such solid/not-insanely-cheap-looking things in boxes like these. Love it!
S'mores Makers like that retail around $60. Sterno makes s'mores specific sterno gel cans. It can be used anywhere you can safely light a candle because that gel was made to be used indoors.
Love this company. Havnt actually bought anything yet but I check the website when I remember bc they have special deals every day. Wanna check this box out for sure. The candle holder with the empty space is meant for creating a plant/floral/decoration display. So you could fill it with pine cones and baubles for Christmas, for example. Plonk a couple of poinsettias amongst them, you get the gist.
That's a pretty nice box! I especially love the pumpkin pie dish and the pumpkin trivet! The good thing about individually boxed items... you can re-gift if you don't like or want it!
Cute stuff in the box World Market sells that same pie dish for $19.99 in case anyone wants it,but not the sub box. I love to shop for home decor in person and online both.
That pie dish is sooo cute! Definitely try making your own pumpkin pie from scratch. The hardest part is making the pie crust, but it's so worth it! You can always try making a practice pie. There are a ton of pie crust recipes out there, so pick one and try it out. For the filling, simply find the Libby's 100% Pure Pumpkin (usually in the baking aisle) and follow the recipe on the back of the can (the small can is for one pie, the large can is for two); make sure it's just pumpkin puree and not pumpkin pie filling (Libby's makes both). It's gonna call for evaporated milk, which sounds weird, but this is what makes the magic happen. Be sure to also make it the day before you want to serve it, as it needs to chill for several hours in the fridge. But, of course, if you just go the store-bought pie route, I think it will look awesome in that pie dish.
If you're going to home bake your own pumpkin pie Alex you also need to whip up your own cream to top it. Cool whip is tasty but a batch of whipped heavy whipping cream is FAR better. You get to control how sweet you want it to be and of course how vanilla-y you want it to taste 😋 Yeah, I know that's not a word but just go with it, lol...
@@tammiemartinez6485 I'm a sucker for Cool Whip, but homemade whipped cream is very tasty and super simple to make (especially if you have a stand mixer). My *only* issue is that I always make too much. :P
@@marykennedy6347 LOL, I hear you. I had the same problem. My 1st time making it was for a Pavlova which I followed a recipe for. The 1st time I went to make without following a recipe I made far too much. Now that I've been baking for a few years solid I now know just how much to make. Great thing is. If you do make too much it's a great topping for ice cream, jello, even a cup of hot Cocoa... 😋
Alexandria, add 2 bags of the dollar store mini pumpkin and corn farm mix with some of their acorns on the candle platter for Thanksgiving. Or leaves and fresh mini gords.
the pumkin baking dish would be great for presenting a side dish like the stuffing or sweet potatos, too. Damn, when we finally get a house, I want one of those... hell... two of those.
In regards to why you do boxes - I appreciate it SO MUCH. Because of you, I knew BoxyCharm was the right box for me. I started it in January and its changed my life for the better. Thanks for doing this!
The tin candle holder thing where you can put 7 tapered candles on it would look super cute on a porch! Maybe on a little Halloween decorated table on the porch inbetween 2 chairs with the 7 candles but get the fake flameless ones!
I’m with you on the pumpkin dish! I’ll be looking for something like that for my Thanksgiving pie! Looks like you’re going to have an amazing Thanksgiving dessert table!
There was some really cute stuff in there but a lot of stuff I don't know what I would do with. This would be great for someone that doesn't have a lot of home décor to get some starter items to decorate with.
Found a white pumpkin baking dish like this one for $57.50 from mud pie. An orange one from Kohls originally $59.99 on sale for $30.59 both plus shipping of course. I prefer the white one personally.

My mom had a garling hanging up in her front living room by the front door with flowers a couple of years ago.
The candle holder with the empty space is meant for creating a plant/floral/decoration display. So you could fill it with pine cones and baubles for Christmas, for example. Plonk a couple of poinsettias amongst them, you get the gist.
I use those tray things for candles and also kitchen displays. Little fake plants, sugar dish, fake candles and random crystals
That's a pretty nice box! I especially love the pumpkin pie dish and the pumpkin trivet! The good thing about individually boxed items... you can re-gift if you don't like or want it!
you can get the exact pumpkin pie dish at world market for $20!
You could put pillar cables or tea lights in the open area by the tapers.
I love how i also guess the "homegoods" prices with you & we're both within $1-2 range of eachother. Love these videos - so fun.
Yeah us old people from the 70's sure love a trivet!
been LOVING watching these new subscription boxes!! especially these home decor ones 😍would love to see more of them in this “genre” of subscriptions
Sternolites, get em on Amazon or bed bath and beyond, typically used for buffet dishes
You can get jell candles (food warmers) at the dollar tree. In the party/ wedding section
That box has really nice things, I think! I love the pumpkin dish!
The pie dish is absolutely adorable!
The wood slabs would make a really nice plant holder!!
Amazing box, I get the comparison with Home Goods or Marshall's BUT I love the style in the Fall!!!!
My family’s favorite local restaurant offers make your own s’mores for dessert, it’s so much fun
The tin candle holder thing where you can put 7 tapered candles on it would look super cute on a porch! Maybe on a little Halloween decorated table on the porch inbetween 2 chairs with the 7 candles but get the fake flameless ones!
Love the white pumpkin casserole dish❣️❣️You can use the trivet for your pumpkin dish. Really like this box.
Love watching Ur videos, even the older ones
Found a white pumpkin baking dish like this one for $57.50 from mud pie.
An orange one from Kohls originally $59.99 on sale for $30.59 both plus shipping of course.
I prefer the white one personally.
