there's a meaning behind it
V3 is by far the saddest among the danganronpa series tbh
I think the saddest thing about it is that unlike previous killing games, the character's had literally no history with each other, they have no happy memories with each other for the survivors to smile back on afterward, because they were literally created to die. I think that's what makes 2:48-3:09 the saddest part for me, because I think they could have been really good friends outside the killing game like Kaede said. Besides maybe Kiyo, he probably would have ended up killing one of them eventually.
What I found sad, along with Jonathan Dean's comment, was that everything about the characters was made up- a lie. They thought they knew themselves, but they only knew made-up, fictional people. Everything they deny, their “true” selves said and did. The breaking of the fourth wall isn’t much of a factor apart from that it might make you feel quite guilty. Because we, the audience and fans, wanted this killing game. And we at the end want it to stop too.
Imo it’s the best game in the series because I love all of the characters, feel as if the murders were more… dramatic? Is that the right word? Plus I thought that the motives were all taken up a notch compared to the previous games.
Then again, that’s just my opinion.
Plus the executions were brutal also. Every execution and murder in this game also seemed to happen for a larger purpose, unlike the other killing games no one really just killed out of malice except for the mastermind (Kaede to get the mastermind, Kirumi for her country, Korekiyo for his sister, Gonta because he thought there was no better option, Kaito because he was already dying and it was the best chance they had to stop the game). This game was really good at stomping on your heart. Chapters 1 and 4 made me sob horribly.

Also, since I’m writing this I should at least mention that I love this so much. I feel like it portrayed the characters and their emotions so well, defiantly my favorite Rolling Girl animation out of all the ones I’ve seen.
Rolling Girl is the key to understanding the important moments of life. If you wanna watch a story of someone, just always think of it in Rolling Girl form.

Why would anyone coming here have anything spoiled for them? With how V3's victims and culprits were constantly spoiled like it was the end of the world, I doubt anyone who wanted to keep things blind for themselves would look up stuff like this, unless they either had a brain fart or were too bored for their own good-

I'm in love with this!! It's so clever and well done! God, the victims and perpetrators together was heartbreaking and amazing, any time there's a Kaede and Shuichi part it just kills me inside (the gonta, miu, and kokichi one made me cry too)

Korekiyo and the Mastermind are the only non-repentant killers in the game. The Mastermind doesn't have to be explained but Korekiyo also was a serial killer so he didn't give two rats about murdering others (in his Free Time Events he basically was already thinking up ways to kill Kaede, and he hints that he would make an exception to his girls-only rule and kill Shuichi too).

And we don't actuallyknow if they really joined the game willing or with the intentions the Mastermind claims they did. We have only the "evidence" the Mastermind itself gives,a Mastermind that was shown to break the killing game's rules and lie for it's convenience. There's even pretty convincing evidence in the original Prologue that the Mastermind is full of shit (and the author encouraged people to re watch the prologue to compare it's events to the stated events by the Mastermind). Always remember the theme of the game is truth and lies, even the ending is full of lies.

This fixed my depression yet made it worse, I love how the appear together from the victim and the blackended. In my opinion this Danganropa game was my favorite. (Mostly because of the characters...)

I think I was able to figure out most of the symbolism:
-at the beginning, she suddenly switches her outfit, showing her transformation into an Ultimate
-while falling, it looks like she's trying to stop herself, showing how she tries to defy Monokuma
-Shuichi appears and falls with her, showing how they team up to save everyone
-Shuichi stops, and Kaede leaves him behind, possibly representing how she had to sacrifice herself and move on to save them
-the blackened are matched up with their victims
-Tenko is paired with Himiko, possibly showing their growing bond
-Miu appeared before Kokichi, showing that she was trying to kill him
-Kaito and Kokichi switch places, representing their switch trick
-Maki is alone, feeling empty after losing Kaito
-Tsumugi becomes Junko, revealing she's the mastermind
-Kaede is holding a shot put ball and Rantaro is holding the survivor perk monopad
And that's all I could find
Fav part is at the end where all the characters are rolling and smiling
This whole game made me tear up its like the fans are wanting more executions and deaths and these characters have to suffer the price it's what we wanted the first chapter oh god,it was a ball of tears for me,just they way shuchi tried to get kaede for the last time,this is sad I hate it but I love it.
