Last year's winner (Valen S Antao, Shiroda) sings at the 7th Mhozo Tallo Aikat Solo Song Competition

“Mhozo Tallo Aikat 2023”, the Goa Cultural & Social Centre’s Seventh All Goa Konkani Solo Singing Competition, was organised in Panjim on June 25, 2023. It was held at the Institute Menezes Braganza Hall. Musicians backing the singers were Selvyn Braganca (Merces) on the trumpet; Semy Braganza (Merces) on the trombone, Roy Menezes (Divar) on the saxophone, Xavier de Moira aka Paklo on the drums, Bernardo Cardoso (Taleigao) on the bass, Anthony Pereira (Divar) on the rhythm, and Walsh F Fernandes (St Ines) on the keyboard. Comperes were Agnelo Fernadnes and Armando Fernandes, both of Borim. The preliminary round for this event was held on June 4, 2023. Recorded by Frederick Noronha (FN).
