I agree that it’s nice that they flashback and show you things because I want the whole story…. But I wish they would just tell it in order you’re going to get to see so many back stories get explained throughout Shippuden…. Maybe too many… I enjoyed it all but like you said fights get stretched out with the backstory as flashbacks

Also I just finished watching your twitch stream up to episode 71 and regarding that:
I find it interesting how you said enimies were stronger than all Leaf Ninja but then Sakura, Yamato and Naruto all won 1 vs 1 fights. Also you were asking about where some people were durring that filler but it was actually addressed. At the begining of the arc they were intetionally left Land of Rain marks at the sights of the villages they killed to frame the Land of Rain. Tsunade even said durring the attack she sent too many forces to the boarder in anticipation of War! So Jonin like Jaryah, Kakashi, and Gai were probably all at the boarder of the Land of Rain waiting for an invasion that was never going to come. And since it would have been a war that is why Tsunade sent experienced Joinin like Gai there and what was left in the village was mostly Chunin like Lee.
