The rastaman with the sunglasses was also very clear. Start unite as Africans, do business with each other, Unite. I totally agree with them. Miss Trudy, The genuineness of your videos is truly heartwarming, invigorating, and inspirational. The combination of African Tigress, your husband Wodemaya, and yourself creates an impeccable representation that instills a sense of pride among Africans. Excellent
Nigeria and Ghana also they should'nt even be a country due to different tribes and religious lines before Europeans came along also the two doesn't represent the whole of Africa. Black people in the West always make that broad statement. We know there are over thousands of tribes, languages, traditions, religions most is beautiful the rest is questionable. There are lots of things to discover.
Not the best way to learn about Africa though, since movies can be so misleading!!! It is best to watch Documentaries about Africa, it will shock you just how diverse and rich our Continent is!!! It will also shock you how almost every European country has been built with Africa's wealth, while the people of Africa is left in poverty!!! Africa is actually the Richest Continent of all the world's Continents!!!
@@yvonnepassley3780 for Europe I would say all of them because some of the countries especially Central and Eastern Europe under the Russian empire and Russia has a huge resource and doesn't need anything from Africa. Also a lot black people in the West always skirt over the Arabs in Africa.

Ignorance at its best. Its a pitty. Bax mean a slap on the face or on the cheeks. Two ladies who only view our motherland from the nigeria movies they watch. One ❤ trudy and migority of us believe there is that missing peice in us that can only be filled in being educated more on or going back to our home land Africa. Nice having you here 🇯🇲

Miss Trudy, this is a Wow episode. I have been loving Africa since I was born my great-grandparents are Jamaican Maroons who instilled the African roots and I was told never to forget that, so I teach it to my children so they will never forget it.
The opening with that lady has me in stitches. A lot of older people in Jamaica and the Caribbean do think like her. The idea that Africa and the people there are bad was part of the colonialism mindset taught to us in this region. The UK was once seen as the motherland, it is only in recent decades we have switched our mindset to Africa being the motherland and seeing ourselves as part of the African diaspora.
I don’t know what older people you’ve been around in Jamaica and the Caribbean cause growing up in Jamaica all I heard was mother Africa nothing else js 😂
Thanks to the internet and social media people are more open to being African or of African descendants. I remember growing up some children did not want to associate themselves with being african. why? because the foreign media only showed the famine, poverty and disease in Africa not the wealth and the greatness. Therefore, most Jamaicans were not proud to be of african descent. However, Rastafarians has always identified as Africans.
I’ve binges watched all your Jamaica 🇯🇲 series as a Jamaican living in the UK. You are amazing, and I hope you continue to do what you do as a partnership for a long time. I’d love to go to Ghana, I’ve visited Gambia and Nigeria multiple times & each time it feels like home. ❤ One Love!

I love this video. The majority of Jamaicans and people in the Caribbean have a very positive view of Africans. That has been my experience. We are one and the same. The two ladies at the beginning of the video are on the fringes. Don't let them dampen your views about Jamaica and Jamaicans. Enjoy your stay there.
We don't know the whole of Africa, its a very broad statement. How many know Mauritania? Chad? Sudan Malawi The Amazigh in North Africa. There is so much to learn you have over thousands of tribes languages traditions ect. You either like or you don't and it's OK. What that woman said was pure ignorance. But like the Caribbean and Africa we need to learn about each other more not broad generalization.

The rastaman with the sunglasses was also very clear. Start unite as Africans, do business with each other, Unite. I totally agree with them.
Bring more of these information for us about this roots lifestyle, if possible.
Miss Trudy,
The genuineness of your videos is truly heartwarming, invigorating, and inspirational. The combination of African Tigress, your husband Wodemaya, and yourself creates an impeccable representation that instills a sense of pride among Africans. Excellent
Wow, thank you
Alot of Jamaicans watch Nigerians and Ghananians movies on a daily basis. We loved their movies.Thats how we learned alot about Africa.
Scandinavia didn't have an empire in Africa. It was mostly Western Europe Britain, Spain, Belgium,Portugal,France and Germany to be precise. Also a lot black people in the West always skirt over the Arabs in Africa.
Lol and what are you learning??? You sound just as ignorant as the woman in blue. Watch a documentary that states FACTS about a person or place... not a fictional movie. Smh
Read BOOKS on Africa. You’re not really learning anything watching sensationalistic entertainment.
Ms.Trudy, you need to visit Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹….. you will understand how we love our African brothers and sisters
TruMaya thanks for this episode, it got me do emotional, especially the gentlemen at the end talking about Africa and the message that we all need to hear.

Some people out there still think Africa is one country
I know there is also a lot of irony on the comments they say the mouthy woman is ignorant which is true but so are they.
😂
To be honest we are only perpetuating it as Africans
Africa is 1 country just like Europe.

I am not surprised with what they said, Travelling is educative, and widens your horizon because you learn different cultures. Good job 👍🏾
😢Thank you Wode and Trudy. This video really touch my heart. Give thanks to the most high for your good works. There are some Jamaicans just like Africans who do not know their history but most do and we understand that we are one people who were conquered and divided but an awakening is taking place and we are realising that we were sold a lie.
No way! You’ve got to be kidding me! I thought she is the only person who doesn’t like Africa coz most of the Jamaicans I have met love Africa!
She watches yoo much Nollywood movies
