A glass dip pen is a whole different beast than a metal nib. It draws in bold, near uniformly thick lines. Its strength is the ability to use fountain pen inks (a metal nib cannot without a thickener) and rinse and change colors quickly without risk of cross contaminating inks. A good exercise to try with glass dip pens is contour drawing. Give it a shot!
Although the hamburger you drew is drawn with black lines, it is very realistic. I looked at it and thought, I can smear the color on you in a hallucinatory way,
larger nib?..🤣... Are you kidding? 🙄. Funny, I can't find ANY manufacturer that labels their nibs with THAT name. Most have a manufacture/brand or nickname and a number of some sort. Most sites I've seen, TELL what equipment they're using. 🤷🙄. Details like this are important to many people. 🤷. I've seen more informative FREE RUclips dip pen video instruction. This cheeseburger sure does look a lot like Alfonso Dunn''s cheeseburger from HIS books and videos. Hmmmmm....🤔.
