you all probably dont give a damn but does anyone know of a way to get back into an instagram account..? I stupidly forgot my account password. I would love any tricks you can give me
@Bjorn Lorenzo I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and Im trying it out now. Takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
@@prajna-satheeshbs4519 I mean i could if I wanted to but I don’t personally like the way they look on me and my favorite colors tend to be warm tones anyway so I don’t want to!
A good tip when using knit is to iron a narrow strip of interfacing on the edge, then overlock over this and then sew the hems into the overlock. If you cut your interlining on a false biais it helps keep some of the stretch. This way the hems and shoulder seams lie flat. I've been sewing for over 50 years and have made my own mistakes along the way too. Also for good amounts of fabric I sometimes buy old duvet covers and bedsheets. I recently bought a childs bed sheet covered in ducks to make a fun summer blouse.
I don't know if you'll see this comment, but this is the first video like this I've ever watched and I'm SO INSPIRED! I want to dedicate 2021 to learn how to make my own clothes!!! You are surrounded by items that have so much meaning--such an amazing blessing you've given yourself
I am not into sewing quite yet but there's something beautiful about creating something you can be proud of and I take note that more creation is necessary in my life. Thank you for this realization, your wardrobe that you created is absolutely beautiful.
This randomly came up in my feed, and I’m SO GLAD it did! I would wear everything in your wardrobe, I was re-inspired to take up sewing again (which I haven’t done in years, even though quarantine was the perfect opportunity 😅) and I hit that subscribe button! Congrats on a great wardrobe!
Is anyone else getting emotional watching how far Janelle and her channel has come, especially this year? 😭❤️ all the best for 2021 Janelle! We can't wait to see all the amazing projects you have lined up ❤️❤️❤️
Yayyyyy. I love ure sewing videos. On Christmas Eve I saved up money to buy my own sewing machine. I love it !!!! I can’t wait to try and make some things inspired by you
Congratulations on achieving your savings goal @Lxlly Creations! How exciting to have a lovely, new sewing machine. I hope it's everything thing you wished for!
I LOVED that you said that, after hanging all the pieces you made over 2020, you just sat and stared at them. It's what I do when I've finished a piece of Art ... or a project, or a collection of things. In 2020 I made cards (boxes and boxes). There is some crazy satisfaction that comes from creativity ... from seeing something that was just an idea ... that you then BIRTH ... that you turn into reality. I LOVED seeing all your pieces. They are BEAUTIFUL and really special. And they carry this energy of love ... of how you felt making them ... they carry that energy. Brava!!
I can understand this soooo good! 🥰 experienced the same but with my sketchbook.. ecperimented with different papers for collage and used then different pens and ink 😊
Wow no one I know sews anymore including my 91 year old mother in law who is a wonderful seamstress. All of your wardrobe is beautiful and the colors are wonderful. You will have to sew for others to keep your love of sewing going.
I stitched a cloth for my mom and it suits her the best. She put an idea on my mind to become a fashion designer. I hope I have so much of unique ideas of fashion.
every time i see a video like this full of beautiful self made pieces i want to pick up sewing, and then i look at my actual stitching and patterning skills and despair. these showcase so much skill and love, a collection to be proud of!
What a great productive year you’ve had. I’m cheering you on from Japan as I knit the last bits of the cropped lace jumper. (And by knit, I mostly mean unpick, as I have the concentration span of a gnat, and the lace rows are almost all done twice!) All the best for 2021!
You must be soooo proud of yourself! I got my first sewing machine yesterday and I have already created my workspace. I can't describe how happy and impatient I am to learn and grow.
RUclips showed me your channel at the right time in my life. I am planning to also work on a patterns and do similar styles and colors of my clothes for 2021, I feel what I want to wear is so expensive at the stores I will be wasting my ability o sew and money by buying rather than making them. Will enjoy going through your videos. Keep it up.
personally, not my style of clothes but one or 2 picks but this video is very heart warming to watch. just to see how proud you are of yourself and your craft is beautiful! you’re so talented and inspiring! keep it up girl!
Your creations look so lovely, feminine and comfortable. I used to sew all my clothes as a teenager. It was necessary for me to save money but I did enjoy getting a new outfit once it was done.
I love how your whole collection is cohesive and colour coordinated. Love the puff sleeves!! Great sewing! I love your choice of fine prints too. Thanks, enjoying your video.
That beautiful array of colours is what caught my eye, and seeing that you made these clothes yourself made me want to watch this video! We have different taste in clothing, but I love to sew my own clothes as well. I can’t believe you did so many in just one year! Impressive!
I love the whole colour scheme of this wardrobe! I truly cannot wait until I have enough space to get a sewing machine and try to make/alter my own clothes
This is all amazing! I can’t read a pattern or make clothing YET! But seeing you hack thrifted clothing sure is inspiring. My hubby bought me a super nice overlock for Christmas to go with the sewing machine I’ve had for 25 years and an really nice heavy duty sewing machine that I picked up at a thrift store for $8 USD. I couldn’t hardly believe when I found it and got it home and it was in perfect working condition and a value of approximately $400 USD.
Hello! I might be a kid but I’m starting to be into sewing and I just found your channel and you have made the best outfits I’ve ever seen! Thank you for sharing how to make cute outfits 😍
What an incredible collection, gorgeous color palette, and beautiful finish! Sewing our own clothes is just so fun and it’s great to have prices that are one of a kind pretty much 💖 love your channel!
Wow your collection has all the colours, fabrics and fittings I look for in clothing! It's so beautiful! The thought of making it myself has never even crossed my mind before, but your video has me feeling inspired to try sewing ☺️
You've been such an inspiration to me this year - I actually made quite a few of these outfits from your tutorials. My first one was the pinafore dress.
What an amazing accomplishment! Such a beautiful wardrobe! You should be very proud. I did attend your live stream...what a fun experience to interact with you as you made your dress. I hope you plan to do another live stream soon!! ❤️🧵👗✂️
Loved all of your items, you have inspired me to start sewing again. I’m five months pregnant and can’t find anything I like to buy so thinking to make my own. Wish me luck 😄👍🏼
Just found this video the day my sewing machine is due to arrive to start my sewing journey, I LOVE your style, it’s so similar to the stuff I love, will definitely be getting the Hazel pattern from you first and trying it out, and the wrap dress at another point, beautiful!!!
I just got the time to watch it and I just want to let you know just how much you've been such an inspiration to me. Unfortunately, I don't have much free time and can only get to say hi to my sewing machine during a long break. Watching this is so satisfying. Thank you!
I saw the thumbnail and was like: YES Then I watched the entire video and was like: YEEESSSSSSS I haven't made anything this year, but I did thrift a nice chunk of my summer dresses(cause gewd lawd was it hot this year oof). They're in another room on a rack and whenever I pass by it, I wish it wasn't cold atm so I can wear them again 💙
I used to wear tops or sweaters/jumpers over dresses so the skirt would flow more loosely over my (big) hips...a flow-y hack for my pear shape...love your dresses and your channel
I love your color palette! Would you ever make a video about how you put together outfits? Or how you pick designs to sew? I have a hard time styling clothes that I make but I love your outfits! Happy holidays ❤️
2:30 Sew pretty! 😊 I like the idea of it being made in a pretty white lacey or a soft chiffon fabric in powder blue...what a pretty, pretty, feminine wardrobe, really inspired!
Lovely clothes, so happy to see comfortable classic looks. I also sewed many clothes and it was fun and enjoyed wearing something different than what the other girls wore.
This is amazing, Janelle! You have achieved so much this year and you should be very proud of yourself. You're my favourite channel to watch and I've thoroughly enjoyed your videos. Thank you for being an inspiration and for your contribution to the maker community. I look forward to seeing what's in store for 2021! ❤️
Well done Janelle! I’ve just treated myself to an over locker and i can’t wait to get started on dressmaking. Your videos are always a highlight for me.
i love this! i had a hard time during quarantine sewing because i didn’t feel very inspired or creative but this video makes me wanna pick up some new projects ❤️ thank you!!!!
OMGosh!!! You have SUCH a talent! The next video you need to do is modeling all of these so we can REALLY see them. THey were wonderful to see on the hangers but they're really seen most fully on a body. You've just done a beautiful job.
That collection is something to be proud of.
👍

@Bjorn Lorenzo it worked and I actually got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thank you so much, you saved my ass :D
I literally only ever sew for my kids and their cousins. They have the most beautiful pieces. Why why have I never sewn for myself? 😞 Inspired!
You can do it!
As Abby Cox says DO THE THING
@Heidi Goatgirl I am actually discouraged by the fittings too, but I keep going on cause the ends defeat the means...but it's hard😭
Megan you are so beautiful. You think of others before yourself.
You definitely deserve to use that skill to make yourself some cute items 🥰
The color coded wardrobe is everything!!!
The fact you are made your wardrobe into color stacks is just attractive
I'm so jealous of everyone who look good in those burnt oranges and warm pinks.
I’m the opposite! Burnt Orange, warm shades, yellow etc flatter me really well but I can’t wear cool pinks or whites
Honestly it just accentuates my acne
@@bibliophilecb y?? Just lift ur hands and wear it 😉

Damn Janelle that’s a whole wardrobe. Dedication!
Definitely the most I’ve ever made in a single year!
