Yes you need some money but you do not need to be a millionaire. I live in Gruyères which is quite close to Gstaad, living is much cheaper there and the landscape is eben more beautiful! And for shopping and enjoying the delicious restaurants you are in Gstaad in almost no time..
Sweet old fashioned charm of luxurious shopping neighborhood blocks. The street lamp posts add to that nostalgic charm. Lots of big homes looking well kept. A skating park adds further liveliness. Big street intersections could be made better with proper pedestrian crosswalks and pedestrian walk lights....absolutely needed with big lanes to cross. Main streets kept well & shoveled. Sidewalks should be kept better by keeping paths shoveled of snow slush. Further touches of garlands around lamp posts would add to a merrier feeling for people walking and seeing shopping sights. More cheerier Christmas decor....especially Christmas lights would boost more feelings to holiday shop and get some of the spice of life. A Merry Christmas holiday and may every New Year bring joys!
I live just outside Gstaad. This was clearly filmed before about 15,000 people showed up for the holidays. Sad to say it was a complete and utter nightmare for 2 weeks. They're just starting to leave now!! Thank God! Nice video! :)
Wow, every Switzerland video I’ve watched makes me want to live there! I’m in the US on the east coast. At the very least it’s on my bucket list of places to go. I love snow as well.
So beautiful.. Nostalgia..I had worked there .Still remember the patisserie a stone's throw away from my workplace,whiff of the choco croissant permeating ...And the steak au poivre.. Awesome...!!!And the little train which takes you from Montreux to Gstaad..Those were the day's..Pristine..In winters!!!!!🙏

..funny as I was just there and there were crowds everywhere as the holidays ensure a very popularly visited tourist site ...thus doubt video done any time near Christmas...there were Christmas decorations too and none visible here
Not a whole lot of people around shopping in those high end stores. You'd expect to see the place bustling during the holiday season in such a spectacular location.
Love the cleanliness, peace and quiet but I bet not many of these people are saved....someone tell them that our Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST is coming soon for the rapture! They should listen to Swiss evangelist Dr. Roger Liebi! Blessings from Canada PS: these horses shouldn't have bells right behind their ears, poor things!
