I went to insure my E38 750I The quote was £1300, so i insured a vauxhall corsa for £468 FULLY COMP , then 3 weeks later i rang back and said change off vehicle she said the bmw 750 She its a bigger car it will be an extra £140 so i went ahead So it cost me £608 to insure the BMW , it works once your foot is in the door ,

The system is so broken. It’s unbelievable. I used to have a m140i they wanted 4 grand for insurance, I did the same thing as you, insured my old car for a few weeks then changed over, total was £850
