At least episodes 1 through 4 or 5. Otherwise you won't get a bunch of the jokes in Season 4.

They saw their Pharaoh as a real life God. It wasn't difficult to find people willing to die for him, much less build him some mega structures which had the added benefit of boosting the economy.
