I don't think she'll ever wake up from that machine, she was sent to this world after her sacrificing her immortality, that means she could not live in the time where she could be seen as a normal person in the world. She came from future where whole of mankind became immortal so it's kind of useless to switch back to that time again.
This series shows us the clear difference between selfish vs selfless love. Neither of these two kinds of love were fake, but one was ready to give up everything for her while one was always doubting and contemplating about his feelings and actions.
Even at the end she was telling him all the things he cant do for them to live together and all he says is he does not want her to leave him. That's a love that expects nothing and loves unconditionally.

After sometime, I just skipped all the side plots and just watched all the scenes where there's Qiu Yue and Chun Hua. There are some flaws in the story, but I'm just hooked at the charm of Li Hong Yi and Zhao Lusi.

The two young lead actors ( Li Hongyi and Zhao Lusi) are amazingly talented and versatile in portraying their roles. They were excellent in displaying deep and conflicted emotions ( between good and evil, love and hatred, especially Li Hongyi). Superb acting by supporting cast. There should be a sequel of this drama series where it would focus on values like love, friendship, forgiveness , healing and redemption. Hongyi and Lusi have awesome and powerful chemistry and are perfect for each other. They have deep emotional connection and strong physical and sexual attraction towards each other which was evident and on full display in both drama and BTS. May they work again in future projects. I admire and respect their awesome artistic talents ( acting, singing) and very unique personalities at very young age and hope that they remain humble and down to earth amidst their success now and in the future. I hope they remain committed in upholding their priorities and lead a simple, private and quiet life. May they continue to learn, grow, improve and share their talents ( chosen profession). They should strongly consider portraying more challenging character roles that are socially relevant. Congrats to main lead and supporting actors, producers, directors, scriptwriters, editors, cameramen, make up artists, extras, etc. for a job well done. LBTI is a classic!

Just went back to episode 1 and realized I completely missed the detail of Shangguan and his hairpin being seen by Chunhua in a blur when she first opened her eyes. Also completely forgot about the VR telling her about the romance between Chunhus and Shangguan. If his name was mentioned to her by the VR, why didn't she realize it was him that she was supposed to be with when she first met him? It was never showed to Miss Leng that her father was killed. There should have been some detail on that. If you;re a Li Hongyi fan and need a good laugh, I highly recommend The Legendary Life Of Queen Lau. He is absolutely fantastic in it and it's a very light and entertaining series, which great acting, comedy, costumes, scenery, and original story line. There are some scenes between the leads that I've gone back and replayed because they're so good.
True to Love is what one is really willing to give up for the Love they hold dear. It's now been proven ... what and who is more important to each of these who said they loved Her. It's really nothing to blame him about either. Each person loves differently ... but love may not be as important to another to give up what is considered to them a Wider Responsibility than the person he/she loves. This is something he will have to live with and come to accept .. that his world does not include True Love, but *Responsibility* First. The ending here was Okay... I think it would have been better if they extended it to what happened as she woke up from her dream? Maybe as she opened her eyes ... stood the future Love of her Life (aka Shangguan Qiu Yue 😊.)

It wouldn't have made sense for Xiao Bai to sacrifice himself for her when he knew she was in love with another man who could also save her. Would she have then left him for Shangguan or stayed with him by pity? In any case, he's the loser in the story. Not a fan of the ending, the bad people weren't really punished. Shangguan and Chunhua were right, the "heroes" are such hypocritical, they are the first to accuse the 'evil' sect the first chance they get but when it's one of them who does something wrong, they start to seek evidence and try to excuse them "he didn't have a choice", "It was wrong but I don't meddle in other's business", their whole justice system is a joke. They kill whoever they want for supposedly 'good reasons' but when it's the others they act as if killing is such an evil act...
I love this Cdrama.. this is the 10th drama of Zhao Lusi that I watched.. as a Fan of Lusi i have to watched all her drama so i will not be invested in one leading man only. Evwryone that paired up with her builds a strong chemistry with her. 💜💜💜💜
no. If you go back to the first scene (which moves fast) You can be inmortal in the year 21++ and the feelings of love and pleasure comes from vr. She wanted more and chose to exchange her immortality to time travel according to the list she told the computer (handsome, romantic etc etc) So she actually moved through time and that is her life at the end.

Just went back to episode 1 and realized I completely missed the detail of Shangguan and his hairpin being seen by Chunhua in a blur when she first opened her eyes. Also completely forgot about the VR telling her about the romance between Chunhus and Shangguan. If his name was mentioned to her by the VR, why didn't she realize it was him that she was supposed to be with when she first met him?
It was never showed to Miss Leng that her father was killed. There should have been some detail on that.
If you;re a Li Hongyi fan and need a good laugh, I highly recommend The Legendary Life Of Queen Lau. He is absolutely fantastic in it and it's a very light and entertaining series, which great acting, comedy, costumes, scenery, and original story line. There are some scenes between the leads that I've gone back and replayed because they're so good.

True to Love is what one is really willing to give up for the Love they hold dear. It's now been proven ... what and who is more important to each of these who said they loved Her. It's really nothing to blame him about either. Each person loves differently ... but love may not be as important to another to give up what is considered to them a Wider Responsibility than the person he/she loves. This is something he will have to live with and come to accept .. that his world does not include True Love, but *Responsibility* First.
The ending here was Okay... I think it would have been better if they extended it to what happened as she woke up from her dream? Maybe as she opened her eyes ... stood the future Love of her Life (aka Shangguan Qiu Yue 😊.)

It wouldn't have made sense for Xiao Bai to sacrifice himself for her when he knew she was in love with another man who could also save her. Would she have then left him for Shangguan or stayed with him by pity? In any case, he's the loser in the story.
Not a fan of the ending, the bad people weren't really punished. Shangguan and Chunhua were right, the "heroes" are such hypocritical, they are the first to accuse the 'evil' sect the first chance they get but when it's one of them who does something wrong, they start to seek evidence and try to excuse them "he didn't have a choice", "It was wrong but I don't meddle in other's business", their whole justice system is a joke. They kill whoever they want for supposedly 'good reasons' but when it's the others they act as if killing is such an evil act...
It was very beutiful and the end i love It 😊
I want know exactly what happened between SQ and hua xiaoli, their love story before she comes from death...

no. If you go back to the first scene (which moves fast) You can be inmortal in the year 21++ and the feelings of love and pleasure comes from vr. She wanted more and chose to exchange her immortality to time travel according to the list she told the computer (handsome, romantic etc etc) So she actually moved through time and that is her life at the end.
